Another RWD 6MT for sale on C&B. No sport pack but otherwise fairly well optioned (Logic 7, flat dash, xenons), under 100K miles, and no reserve...

Kinda boring 08 black over tan pre lci non sport 328xi located in central FL. Looks like it has lighting package. I'm local to it if someone wants me to check it out. 128 miles listed in the ad. (I assume 128k)

Manual transmission alert in the Bay Area... all hands on deck!
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/cto...632127096.html $13k|157k mile| paint with color | pretty non-sport interior... someone get this and drive it!!! I am VERY tempted to make a mad-dash up north, but that AWD system just kills it for me :-( |

That would be the way to go! Steering would still be slow though, and then there is the nightmare of the oil pan gasket. Just no positive for _me_ to have an AWD car, only negatives.
But I could overlook most all of that for this beauty! Perfect exterior/interior combo... just doesn't get any better. Don't even mind the iDrive as it is the updated kind. My wife has it on her 528i and it's fine. I'm presuming maintenance has been done on this one based on the ad. Someone in the PNW or CO needs to get this car and really take advantage of what it has to offer! |

Good point on the color combo. If I’d bought it (if I hadn’t just bought mine I’d have been a bidder) I’d be looking at doing an interior swap. I also don’t love the black wheels. I was also thinking somewhere $14,500-$16,000.

This car was listed by the original owner just a few ays ago for $11500. It was sold over the weekend, and is being flipped. The car is cosmetically in very rough shape. Rear drivers side door seems to have been painted in a small area with... a spray paint can; without masking the trim or glass (so overspray there and on other parts of the door); both F+R bumpers are painted similarly. The interior trim on is peeling. Strut and other engine bay bolts are fully rusted, etc.
Mechanically reasonable condition, but clutch definitely will need replacement shortly (it engages much higher than my 110k mi specimen did). The flipper is not being greedy, which is nice, but it is certainly priced appropriate to its physical condition. Quote:

apologies for the long post. figured i’d update you guys on my progress with my e91 adventure.
after successfully taking delivery of my e91 from SF, immediately performed the first round of maintenance and “dialed” it in for the time being. first round of maintenance included the following: -Raybestos EHT Pads (good bite + performance, without the horrendous dust) -Zimmerman Rotors (car came with nearly new OEM BMW rotors so i kept them to the side for now) -Brake fluid flush -Powersteering fluid + reservoir -Waterpump + thermostat + coolant + hoses -Radiator -Blower Motor (old one was squeaking) -Mickey Mouse Flange -AC Compressor (original one went bad) -OSRAM Nightbreaker laser headlight bulbs -Engine air filter -Charcoal cabin air filters -Taillight bulbs -New Valeo F + R wiperblades -Applied Gummi Pfledge to all door gaskets (previous owner was crazy enough to change every single door gasket with new OEM units at the dealership) ** Things to note while seeing the undercarriage of the car in person, it was much cleaner than expected. Oil pan gasket just started to sweat ever so slightly; was changed in 2018. VCG is bone dry along with OFHG; both were changed in 2020. previous owner had actually just put in a set of new plugs and coils. Seeing how clean the car is, i have no doubts that all the previous owners loved and cared for the car very much. Not a single bolt was missing for the undertrays nor anywhere around the car. Other things i did to “dial” this car in were hardwired + wire tucked the dash cam and my radar detector as well as a carplay touchscreen retrofit with a matte screen protector to give it that OEM look and feel. 35% tints all around to have some privacy. was really digging the fishbowl look but i sometimes like to enjoy my five guys burger and fries in peace. exterior and interior both received a reasonably indepth detail. all leather surfaces got a Swixxvax and detail brush treatment to remove any oily residue. all glass surfaces also received a deep scrub, gone are all unpleasant smears. exterior was deeply cleaned, removing any grime and dirt from hidden crevices. all glass surfaces have been ceramic coated and painted surfaces received some meguiars wax after the detail. currently don’t have a garage to properly ceramic coat the whole car and have it cure. cosmetics (basic haha): -Squared APEX EC7’s 18x9 ET 31 with 255/35 S-04 Pole Positions -OEM floating centercaps -Gloss black kidney grilles -Paint matched reflectors -Paint matched front splitters second round of maintenance will include the following (soon to be performed): -F + R diff fluid -Trans fluid + filter + pan -T case fluid -Koni SA + all associated parts -E91 XI specific Eibach springs (currently still waiting from Germany. Ordered these before i even took delivery of the car but unfortunately it looks to be on backorder) Last edited by silverclub25; 06-19-2023 at 11:21 PM.. |
