Without looking it up I’d say you can double that by selling it privately.

Which is pretty much the margin they look for minus repairs, touchups and holding costs.

You should have gone 60a. Give it about 250 miles. The vibrations will start to subside. You can raise the idol rpms either thru Ista D or MHD.

What did I do today... bought it! Well ok not today, but Thursday. 2007 E91 with 67k miles, Sport Package. Auto (wife insisted, and I've got two other manual toys available, that's what she said)

Already tried fitting 20" wheels but they're a little too bling for my tastes. (yes, 20" = bling, I know this; figured it was worth a shot!). Actually I think they do look pretty sweet, but long term not a good idea given the potholes in my area.

Long term plans:
Not too much. My main mod car is a 1988 Porsche 928 S4, but in addition to upgrading the wheels, I'd like to maybe:

ECU tune
Suspension (likely not lowering, but shock upgrades for sure)
Brakes (still learning what upgrades fit)
Exhaust
Intake (not seeing a lot of great options)

Would love to do an M3 Wagon build (yes saw the BaT one; awesome) but likely not with this guy.

Looking forward to being here!

90k just this week.
They were willing to add another $500 but still too low. Gonna keep it, just wanted to see where it stands.

In INPA, IIRC its ENGINE, then select your MSV and then ACTIVATOR ACTUATION (forgive me, I'm doing this by memory, but the button is F6. It'll allow you to open ad close the flaps.

However, in most cases, to really see if its working well, you can pull them and keep the connecting plug in so you can see them operate. I have a video here that's not really good at explaining but shows the units connected to the plugs and tested:

I'll give it some more time and see how I like it. At idle it's not too bad, but accelerating at low speeds around town, its obnoxious.

Did you put in new trans mounts? If not, that could be your problem. The "gold" standard for the e90 when talking about trans mounts, are rogue engineering trans mounts

Just code it out of the airbag module. Also why did you delete your airbag?

Finally took it in for the blower/pcv recall. Took half a day, in/out. No more weird smell I would get every once in a while.

Tried using Lamin-X precuts on my taillights. They're cut too short and gave me zero room for error. Waste of $60
