I saw a Rolex 116000 OP blue dial that I really like. It's 36mm which for me is ideal size for dress/casual watch. I'm not a fan of watches bigger than 40mm. Does anyone have any experience with this model/blue dial Rolex. Thanks.

In regards to 116000, its a good watch. All Rolex watches are excellent. Plus they do have 39mm for this series. https://www.rolex.com/watches/oyster-perpetual.html .

I had a good deal on my ceramic Submariner. I wasn't planning to buy it but I couldn't resist when I saw the price - I could have easily sold it for profit even if I didn't want it. I got it at a dealer in Japan when the exchange rate was over 120 yen/dollar. I was not a fan of the Sub but it grew on me. Now it's one of my favorite go to watches. Rolex has been pumping up the price of the Sub... the price now is pretty ridiculous! It's not a rare watch but because the price of a new one keeps going up, it artificially inflates the price of pre owned ones. That is part of the reason why a lot of watch enthusiasts hate Rolex.

Might add the 116000 blue dial to my collection. My white dial Datejust, and Submariner need company. I can’t figure out why watches become a addiction. Lol...

The DJ41 is a little too big for me, and flashy. The extra 5m in size gives the watch a different look in my opinion. I don’t go bigger than 40m. My 36m DJ I feel is the perfect size. Could be worn with a suit, or jeans and T-shirt.
