Well if you hit the one to the left of the brake and the one to the right, you get a "jerk" so you can label it "jerk" pedal

Something I noticed last week:
When you remove the key fob, the cabin lights automatically turn on when its dark outside. I thought that was pretty cool.

Mine go on in the daytime, but that's after I pull into my garage. Maybe it's connected to the same sensor that the auto headlights are activated with?

The steering and brakes stiffen up at 100+MPH

They loosen up below ~100MPH.

Not true. If you push the unlock button on the dash twice, you can then pull the inside handle and open the door.
Too bad most peoples' first reaction isn't to look for a tiny button on the dash when I lock them in my car if they take too long to get out

You have to do it real quick, it gives you 15-30 seconds to restart the engine after you take the key fob out.

Dont know what was the reason for this. Give it a try.
this is true, i was test driving the car i got, and i did this without knowing it to test if it had ca, and i thought it did, so i ended up buying it, then i figured out that it didnt

while washing my car with the key fob in my pocket the doors will lock and unlock repeatedly if water is running over the handles from the hose...this is annoying, leave key fob inside house while washing the car.

1. I didn't know how useful it would be to have the mirror that points down in reverse.

2. At 100mph, the -xi system becomes 100% RWD. Anyone know how to change this to a lower speed for dry days?

is there a way to program the key fob to close the sunroof after removing the fob from the ignition. i used to close the sunroof with my key, if i forgot, by turning the key to the locked position in the door on my 2005 325i.

more than likely, it is also activated by the sensor for the windshild wipers which sense rain and abient. try this test. with fob in ignition and engine not running, press rain sensor on stalk until it lights gren. run a cloth past the sensor on the windshield and watch the wipers come on with no rain. odd but cool

Take out the little key inside the key fob and turn it in the lock cylinder - just like your E46

I like to think of it as being able to cancel it w/o thinking about which way it was done initially. Just tap it-done. I have also found that the auto single-tap=3 flashes can be over-ridden by holding the lever up to, but not to the "click".

Found out that in the I-drive menu you can set a speed limit and it "gongs" when you go over that limit, very useful when you're feeling like WOT - nice warning
