OK!
its official!!
Made 2 passes yesterday at a drag event.
It's on a 4-lane road, so not the best traction/conditions, but it was sanctioned and the ONLY race this year.
1st pass: 12.6 @ 109mph (.046 reaction)
2nd pass: 11.81 @ 111mph (.15 reaction)
Not bad for a AWD

11.8 is a great time for such a low trap speed. !! You must have had a sick 60 foot . Dont think ive ever seen that low trap in the 11s !

yeah, she gets out of the gate like a sling shot. Advantage of being AWD.
I even added some air hoping for the slightest slippage to decrease the possibility of breakage at the line. No such luck. Hooked and left.

MHD was on stage 2 tune for E30. Shifted clean to 7,000 all the way down the track. I was mighty pleased with the 11.8, though I did expect more MPH cuz stage 2 w/ ethanol should be making more HP than the 440hp-ish needed to move a 335xi to 111mph

im thinking you were letting off before the traps or the timing equipment was junk

good et, mph is way off

should trap that or better with an xdrive tuned on 93 and no bolt ons. no slips to look at?

load your video to youtube if you want to show it

id say its the equipment since it wasnt a real drag strip, 111 is LOW for 11.8

would happily post the timeslip here if I knew how.
drag computer shows 450hp needed to push a 3760lb car to 111 in the quarter.
That is WAY realistic.
Sure, we can say the equipment might not have functioned properly.
But the car HOOKED and left like a slingshot.
Not my first race. Absolutely not my first race car.

Never have i seen a 11.8 @ 111
drew is right , either u lifted before the finish line or the equipment is off

my car ran 11.8, left great as well. trapped 115+

ots ethanol map and intercooler only

its a great et, just saying the mph is low for some reason and i doubt its the car

if youre posting from the app, adding pics is really easy. or just upload to like photobucket and post the link

Finally got to the track this year to try out the drag radials but it was busy so only got 2 runs in.
This was with 94/meth and some cheap octane booster no weight taken out except floor mats.
Both were 1st gear launches which I had not tired before with the RWD. Was hoping for an 11.3X and 127 so was pretty close.

Should have mentioned that I also upgraded to the newer TCU with the Sutphin flash.

Thanks...it's the BMS Hybrid backend race flash but I modified the timing tables and a few other things. Boost is about 24 taper to 21. Still feels like there's a couple tens in first gear to be had... may try antilag again as not building enough boost in 1st gear.

Well played

How much timing you have fed into it? Wish I had gone jb4 from the start. I'd be having more fun.

Well, I've raced 3 events since then and the car is stunningly consistent, pass after pass after pass.
15 times slips all fall in this window:
11.8x-11.9x seconds @ 191km/hr
60ft 1.8x

4-wheel dyno'd it 2 weeks ago: 487hp/670nm torque on E30 tune from MHD
