I knew Quick Draw but forgot El Kabong. Brings Back memories.

How about this guy: no pictures this time. He's another cartoon character with his own show. See if you can guess who he is by what he said; things like "Heavens to Murgatroyd!" and "Exit, stage left."

Try to guess without looking it up.

I'm late but do remember Snagglepuss. Saturday mornings were great during the late 50's to near mid 60's. Rush through breakfast to watch cartoons, Annie Oakley and Roy Rogers - Dale Evans...Happy Trails indeed!

Yep... cartoons were a great escape when you were a little kid; Saturday mornings and after school. The Jetsons, Magilla Gorilla, The Flintones, Popeye, Top Cat, to name a few.

It was Lost in Space, The Monkeys, and Batman plus all the Hanna-Barbara cartoons that are too violent or not PC enough for today's kids.

It's 'Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner' and 'The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle and Friends' that I most remember.

Oh, and Chip and Dale were pretty funny, too.

You discover that Commodore 64 you put in the attic, until you could donate to good will.

I packed up the kids Commodore 64 30 years ago along with all the games. It's been sitting in the attic. My son bought the house from us and I left it in the attic. We keep threatening to get it down and have a Commodore 64 game party.

I expected that it be a collectable and go up in value. I don't think that happened.

It was not a powerful machine, only 8-bit, but game makers really took to it. It literally had thousands of games.

It's now available as a Lego set, I think. One of the older controllers was seen in a book store a few weeks ago. I asked the guy ringing me up if I could build it then hook to my TV and play. He at least appreciated the sentiment.

Right!.....I was beginning to learn how to write some small programs in its language. Then 16 Bit DOS came along, followed by the Graphical User Interface. Both dealing a death blow.
