Dood, this year's MOM needs to be closer to the Valley... at least in the SGV. That's center ground between Ventura and OC.

Na... just want to make my pics look more stunning. I already have the camera... either I'm taking crappy pics or doing a horrible job with photoshop.

Heres something really cool i picked up.

If you have photoshop CS2 (or CS3) you have a feature called Shadow and Highlights. Its under like edit -> adjusments -> shadow highlight. This will essentially create the HDR effect for you without having to take multiple photos. It basically highlights all the dark areas and makes them brighter. And then it shadows all the areas that are too bright and makes them darker. Just mess around with the 2 sliders to get the effect you are looking for.

Another nice tool is Photo Filter which is right above or below shadow and highlights tool. They have multiple color maps already made so you can create that sunset orange feeling or maybe you want a cooling filter if you took a picture of the beach or something. They have tons of filters already made and you can try them all out.
