Here is a 2007 E91 that just hit the market:

https://www.truecar.com/used-cars-fo...-bmw-3-series/

The listing says it only has 67,500 miles and is a 6 speed manual. The VIN indicated that it is actually an automatic.

Wish I hadn’t just bought mine in May lol I’m certain the e91s will be worth lots one day. Especially RWD/6spd/M sport cars.

I have a feeling the owner is going to lose some serious money on this one. With that recent Alpine White one going cheap, and this only being owned 4 months or so…

Market is definitely cooling. I think these are very appealing for a limited number of enthusiasts, and a lot of people bought them to try and flip on speculation they’d keep going up.

Now that the market seems to be getting soft I suspect a lot more people are willing to wait for the right car or negotiate harder.

As someone in the market that is how I feel. I'm open to paying a premium, but I am not going to rush into a purchase and expect it to be a very clean example if I'm paying a premium

Being patient and waiting for the right one is the key. I’m starting to think about selling my pre-LCI RWD/6spd/sport package car and looking for the “right” LCI car. Decisions, decisions.

Oh yeah, big time. This person $29,250 for it on the 5/3/23 BaT auction.

Guess you have to take them at their word:

Due to personal family emergency I am having to sell all my bmw collection unfortunately and this one included.

Currently selling my e39 m5, my f31 wagon, my e30 s52 swap M Tech2 Vert (sold) and my e39 M sports wagon (sold) and then this one. I’m a huge wagon enthusiast. And I am sad to see all my toys go but it’s beyond my control due to my family emergency.

Hopefully I can rebuild my collection again in the future once everything settles down.

It will be very interesting to see where this one ends up selling at. In addition to the current owner paying $29,500 for the car at auction, he incurred a few other costs:

$1475 - 5% Bring A Trailer buyer's commission
$2000 - ship the car from Kentucky to LA
$2139 - LA county sales tax (7.25%)
$250 - License & registration fees

So I would estimate that he is in for over $35,000 on this car.

I have been in the market for an E91 (with: manual transmission, AWD, gas, and sport seats) to replace my 2002 325xiT, so I REALLY like this car. But it is out of my price range.

Random question, how do you feel about the car having a wrap?

IMO it's ugly. The color kills it for me in the flat look.

Did someone here buy this? I spoke to the seller extensively, lowered his price from $20k to 18k to 16k. Said it "sold" at $16k. Still a bit shocked as there were at least 2 accidents and he showed me extensive paintwork done.

Exactly, this is the biggest downside of the auction sites.

My $17,750 E91 off of BaT cost me $21,500 before it even got to my door. I have since spent another $7k sorting the things the dealer I bought it from neglected to disclose on top of their crappy repaint.

My f31 is currently wrapped from the previous owner in a laguna seca blue wrap. I think he said he spent like 3-4k on it.

I dig it because the color has cool hues of green under different lighting, but its good knowing the paint under is being protected by a high end wrap for the time being, and underneath is black sapphire metallic when I need a change. B58 swap makes it all the better...

I had noticed it went down but not to level where I would have considered given mileage is higher than my sport.

Not an e91, and it looks a little rough, but while some say e61s are the ugly older brother, they have unmatched cargo space in the back. https://www.ebay.com/itm/394868471740

Love that it’s RWD/6spd. Sure looks like it needs quite a bit of TLC. What’s going on with that shifter?….
