Glad to see its back on the road. I'd buy it and put a supercharger in it.

Yeah, that’s what I’m afraid of. I’d definitely want someone to look at it if I were gonna buy it. There’s a lot to like about it versus my e91 but not at $18,500 IMO.

Team E91 ... I did a thing...
2011 E91 328xi with a complete interior/exterior/drivetrain swap from a donor 2009 E90 M3. So April this year I picked up a Sapphire black 2011 E91 M Sport with the help of this awesome thread and expertise of e90post members (appreciative post here!) A user had posted a marketplace find for an M Sport in really good condition and was just the spec I was looking for to form the basis of a project to make an E91 M3. I connected with the seller, ended up buying the car and it's been my flawless daily driver since then. As sods law would have it - not a month after the M Sport was delivered, an already-converted E91 M3 came up for sale. I spent a month researching it, going back and forth with the seller, the builder etc, and ended up pulling the trigger. A nice problem to have: I've just spent the last couple months getting the E91 M3 dialled in mechanically, and as of last week it passed MD inspection and is now my DD. Mechanically it's 95% there, cosmetically...it needs a ton of work I'm sorely tempted to pull the interior and various parts from the M Sport to "furnish" and help finish the M3, but the M Sport is in way too nice OEM condition to start thieving parts off, particularly the rare black interior, headliner etc etc. Besides, I have strong connections in the UK where I can get a lot of parts way cheaper, so it just seems wrong to mess with a rare M Sport in such a way. I'll make a proper listing for it here soon, but quickfire info on the M Sport: - Vin WBAUT9C54BA191873 - Sapphire Black on Oyster - Current mileage 157k and change (I've added about 4k miles since April) - Lots of super tasteful OEM+ upgrades (M performance alcantara wheel, shifter etc, euro tailights, style 230 wheels) - Some of the maintenance during my ownership include oil/filter change with Liqui Moly, new pads, Pirellis, all filters and more - I have all receipts) - The previous owner was a proper enthusiast, laundry list of preventative and maintenance work done with receipts - Proof is in how tight the car feels and drives, and not a single fluid leak, weap or light/warning on the dash (!) - I paid 12.5k for the car (+shipping, registration, tax, maintenance, upgrades, etc, I'm in it for over 15k, need to tally up my receipts). Haven't decided on a final asking price but I'm not looking to get hosed so not in a rush to sell - Clean title, in hand etc etc. Car was a florida car majority of its life, then garage kept by previous own in WI (attested to by the complete lack of rust). More than happy to pass on the contact details of the previous owner if he approves, as we keep in touch Will be posting some clear pics and a full and proper for sale listing in the next week or two once I have time to detail the car and document everything |

Guys sorry I'm slow to respond as I only have time late at night to update on here and I will get a proper listing up with detailed pics and history as soon as I can! Just wanted to comment quickly - I put the VIN in my last post so anyone can look up the full spec on the car but not sure why it's showing as manual - it's a 2011 328i M Sport RWD Automatic - if you go onto the options tab on bimmerwork the second option is 205 - Automatic transmission.
For the people that reached out early - what I did was go through my google drive and create a shared album of random pics I took during my ownership (she is quite pretty after all) - feel free to check it out here https://photos.app.goo.gl/RYaQDtoHVksQuPYp9 and I'll get to work taking proper pics and making a listing soon |

Would there be any interest for a 2006 325xi 6MT chassis (blown n52 motor)? California car no rust, but 208k on the odometer.
I say chassis because it was my daily and it has an oem m3 front end conversion, m3 oem side skirts, msport rear bumper which would all be removed prior to sale. Straight body. Recently installed Bilstein b6 and H&R sport springs. Cinnamon brown sport interior. |

Because I have 3 e91 with oem m3 front end conversions already.
I don’t want to invest 5k for a n52 replacement or 10k for a n54 swap or more for a m3 motor swap. Dudes out here trying to lowball me for the entire car as is when all the parts for the oem m3 front end conversion costs way more than what ppl are offering. Let alone the msport rear bumper with the carbon fiber diffuser and the carbon fiber trunk spoiler. I’d figure if someone has a spare n52 laying around and can swap it, they’d have a clean title 6MT manual e91. At this point I can make more parting out the car. |
