Ordered a used one for $140. Rebuilt ones were insanely expensive. I'll take the risk of the used one.

Hehe already bought one locally for $100. Now I have to virginal the damn thing, what a pain. Works well but I can't stand the tamper dot.

Installed new BMS charge pipe ! did not go as easy as it should have, but she is in, and no codes when running through the gears in high rpm's. Think I got her on there leak free.

Installed (another) performance steering wheel ... thicker, light grey stripe, black stitching, textured sides, smooth top/bottom, and slight flat bottom.

I somehow manages to scrape the top portion of the leather on mine and it bothers me every time I see and feel it. Depending on the difficulty of the install and price, I'd like to get it replaced... |

Reattached and used silicone on cowling at base of windshield and now my car is leak free!
I just bought it from my neighbor in October for $3K. Obligatory introduction post will be here soon! |

<3 comfort access. been pondering retrofitting it to my MK1 TT (where it was never offered)
Today I installed a new oil filter housing gasket (definitely more painful without that 1/4" E10 socket and ujoint the pelican guys have, grr). Since I pulled out the alternator, I figured I'd replace the tensioner while i was in there, since the deflection in the bolt was already causing the belt to go 1/8" or so over the edge of the pulley. Next up, updating maps on the CIC and turning on BMW Apps. Tomorrow I'll wash off the engine cleaner/degreaser I sprayed in there. What a mess. |
