I spent £30 on a 2nd hand door lock actuator as one hand stopped working back end of last year, bloody thing started working again all on its own before I got chance to fit it. Ah well, at least I have a spare, no other extra costs last month

New set of PS4S all round £876 inc vat, all booked in for Monday…Ouch.
That seems like a lot for 4 tyres.

You can get set of PS4 tyres on blackcircles a lot cheaper.

£500 on a full set of m4 brake callipers, pads and hardware. I’m glossing over the engine rebuild costs as that’s rapidly approaching £10k. Got hard race suspension arms for the rear £600 and solid subframe mount bushes

Finally got around to changing our the Brembo front pads for the Brembo HP2000's that I brought last year.

Was impressed when I opened the box, they just looked quality.
Install went fine although the retaining clips on the piston side pads needed a bit of a tweak with a pair of pliers to make them go in the hole and was pleased that the outer pads also have retaining/anti rattle clips.
I was never happy with the feel or the way the 35i stopped since swapping out the Red stuff ceramics.

First impressions, very good much better than the 'stock' Brembo pads. Good bite from cold, good pedal feel, no brake squeal & it now stops on a sixpence

Hopefully these won't cause the dreaded shuddering under braking to return.

I like the sound of retaining pins on both sides.

My expenses were £160 for a nice big Bosch AGM battery. My welcome lights come on all the time now and I don`t have to keep setting my clock and digital speedo 👍

Just dropped $1500 on new flywheel, 550i clutch and parts for install. At 160k miles (tuned most of that) the stock clutch has said enough.

If it's lasted 160k miles, that's pretty impressive, especially considering it was tuned.

No expenses other than fuel for March.
Misfire on cylinder 4 came back yesterday so I’ve swapped out the coil for one of the original ‘good’ coils left from when I swapped out all 6 back in 2015.
Same thing happened back then cylinder 4 coil went down, so just replaced that one then got misfires on 2 & 3 so just ended up swapping all 6.
Will see how it runs over the next few days, have two more coils to try if misfire comes back

Nothing but fuel and tax for me. Considering sorting a couple of little paint jobs out before putting it up for sale in the summer.

I was going to like your comment before i got to the end. Cannot condone the selling, unless its to me for rediculously cheap

There is a slight chance Mrs S will sell her TT and have mine instead. I wouldn't argue against it but its her call.

As it has 160k miles on it (but with full BM History and extended warranty til last month) it will be great buy for someone wanting a 6MT E91 as it will be the lower end of the price range.

They are always in demand & am sure it'll fetch good money.

I've been looking for something more suitable for the two Alsatians than the e92 for a while now but F & G31 prices are just ridiculous & have been going up since last April, when I got the cash to buy one Have now decided to get a 2013+ V8 diesel Range Rover, hopefully increasing fuel prices & the rumoured upcoming 'diesel shortage' will see prices drop on the big engined diesels & I can pick up a nice deal at someone else's expense

Took the 35i out early this morning for a little scud about as it was nice & sunny The new pads have bedded in nicely & it now 'stops on a sixpence' & the replacement coil seems fine with no misfires.

You're a man of good taste that doesn't end with an e91 335 chappers, we had a (huge) GSD til he died last 18 months ago, he filled up the boot space of the e91, We have two Rottweilers now and they have more room than the big lad had.

I too am probably going down the Full Fat Range Rover route too when the e91 finally goes, I'm hoping for the 5.0l petrol though, would be happy with a diesel if not.

No further issues or expenses for April. The old coil seems to still be fine.
Will be giving the 35i a bit of a run on Thursday to take Mrs to Stansted, a decent run should do it some good & I get 3 nights & 2 days of 'man time'.
Still haven't found the ideal RR, although I have noticed a much greater disparity between what they are being advertised for & what webuyanycar is valuing them at. Two that I was kinda interested in on AT for £34,000 & wbac valued them at £25,500, a few months ago the difference was around a £2,000. I may just look at private sales & offer a grand or so over wbac values, provided I can find a nice green or blue one with silver/cream leather & pan roof.
