Hey Guys, will be in Chicago sometime in February. Can you give me some suggestions for a good restaurant to take the GF out to? An upscale Japanese restaurant would be nice.

thats the way to ask that question...with some specific request!

its overpriced and overrated but that doesnt mean it isnt good. if i were coming from outta town and wanted japanese downtown it would be japonae for sure. you may even catch some of our sports heroes there too

Definitely planning to hit some of the local favourites, but do want to set aside one dinner at a nice japanese place since both of us enjoy japanese.

Anyone ever make pizza bagals? Where you take a bagal and you put tomato paste on it, then throw some cheese on and some seasonings. Pop it in the oven and make little pizzas?

Not trying to be rude about this topic at all. I also never said you would die from it but we will all end up with it at some point. Will we know that we have it? Maybe not. No worries man, I know from a scientific standpoint "shit happens" its just hard to look at it that way after actually going through it yourself. Can't help but ask "why her?" ya know? Thankfully she's stronger than I though so no worries anymore.
