It's not quite that time to check my ytd spending on Amazon but my curiosity got the better of me. With COVID this past year I know my spending online was up, so I compared Jan-Oct 2019 and Jan-Oct 2020.

2019: $2835.04 for 61 purchase

2020: $5510.46 for 137 purchases

The results were not unexpected. More than double the amount of purchases, but less than double the amount spent. Makes sense since I purchased a lot of smaller items on Amazon this year than before, when it was easier to just drive to the store for small items.

I think I am about average to above-average for an upper-middle class family living in the suburbs. Anyone else got some crazy numbers this year?

PS:
If you are not familiar, you can generate a CSV file through the Amazon Business Analytics page. I'm not sure how to do that with a consumer account, but I'm sure there has to be a way from the "Your Orders" page. Open it up with excel and just sum the "Order Net Total" column.

I bought a 1/18 scale model of my BMW F31 Touring. I was contemplating sanding it and painting it mineral gray to match my actual car but honestly not all my model cars are the same color as my real ones and I couldn't match the interior.

Ready for winter...well, not ready, just ready.

Quick test fit on these, just came in today. ESA SR08's in dark bronze with Toyo snows, should do.

Car's slightly jacked up, so no need to discuss wheel gap here...this was just a quick fit to make sure they clear the brakes...and yes, the garage is dirty.

Nice! FYI you don't need to sand the paint off. Just use some Kwik Strip and it will fall off. Follow up with a soft wire brush to get into the creases. Then you can sand working your way up to 0000 steel wool for a smooth finish.

Got this to match my old F80, haven't found an M3 CS model yet though.

Nice!! Where are you sailing? Raced a trimaran on lakes in the past and had a blast with little Hobies. Had I not met my wife, I’m fairly certain I’d be living on a cat right now...

Had our Queen size mattress about 11 years now, it's 10'' depth and one of those in between soft and medium with a foam memory topping.
Very comfy and now lying in the middle close to partner to even out the wear rate!

LOL. It would have been really ballin' had I bought new. Boat looks to be in great shape for it's age. You know what I've been through. I just decided to F' it and start enjoying things.

Thanks!

The two best times in a boat owner's life. The day they buy a boat and the day they sell it.

Thanks.

Looks a lot like the homes in my neighborhood - but then I guess that could apply to just about anywhere in Texas
