I'm ordering the performance spoiler. debating ordering a carbon rear diffuser.
And i'm just dying to order the Arkym lip even though its over priced. But I dont want to do the rear without something in the front.

I still only have 340 miles on the car (even though I've been driving as much as possible). So the extent of my DCT experience is limited.
I can say this though... the DCT is eerily similar to a manual transmission. The rolling back on a hill, the pause when accelerating, and the overall feel of the shifts. There is a very drastic difference between standard Drive and Sport mode. In casual driving the DCT almost feels like it lags a bit. Not the shifts themselves, but the reaction to change gears. In Sport mode the DCT is almost telepathic. It's senses every upshift and downshift faster than your body can. Very fast and very fun to drive. I'll be installing my Rix boost gauge into the car tonight. I'll get a better understanding of the stock boost mapping - even though I can't floor it quite yet. I've yet to experience sport mode coupled w/ the Sport button. Should be exciting Another crazy thing is, I probably like the bmw sport exhaust better than my AE performance exhaust. I'm actually selling it if you're interested. |

It's a great setup and I don't think you'll want anything more aggressive if you plan to use catless downpipes. |

There is a member on here that ran 12.9 with a stock is. Only mod was tires (not drag radials). There are many people running far more than 360 ft/lbs with no problems. Where did you get that number from? Last edited by JB335; 06-18-2011 at 11:53 PM.. |

That's not an absolute value but there are some known issues with the DCT's clutches and self-protection/overheat that comes with tuned cars. The Launch Control is an awesome feature but can't be utilized on hot laps at a drag strip.

Hey guys, I posted this in another thread, but does anyone know of any track times that have been posted for the 335is? I've only come across one so far in my search, which is kind of surpising. I'm just trying to get a guage on how the car stacks up against the competition.

Here a few quick BB pictures of my 2011 335is. I traded a 2007 335 at 49,550 miles and just shy of four years. I'll post better quality pictures soon. I also need to change my sig.

Pretty interesting thread over on the M3 forum:
http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=335is They had a dyno day and someone dyno'd their stock 335is at 311 hp and 339 tq - pretty impressive numbers. Makes you wonder how underrated this car really is. |

Ignore the front, hit and run. Truck backed into me and left, found a big square tow hook mark, dented my hood also and destoryed one of my kidney grill frame. Bmw wanted 3600 for brand new front bumper and hood, painted and installed. Bought this hood and saved me quite some bucks, car goes into shop Monday, hood is going to get painted. This is a teaser, and yeah those r reps not real. Also im at 13,600 miles now, JB4 in this girl and love it.
