Maybe I'll make a trip to autozone in the future and see if I can find a close match with duplicolor spray. But this will do for the time being.

Edit: Just found out duplicolor graphite matches vmr gunmetal. I'm going to give this another go in the next few days.
Let me know how this works for you, maybe I'll have you touch up mine! lol

DAAAAANG!

I did this 3 times in 2 days on all 3 different wheels as soon as I got them mounted.

Rather than dealing with touch up paint I'm just gonna blast/powdercoat all of them black once I find a decent booth for the shop.

Is the tire losing air?

Tire pressure is fine, took a good chunk out of the sidewall but wasn't deep enough to reach the cords.

Let me know if you're still looking for a powdercoater. I know one that does great work.

I'm actually gonna be working on a few evo projects soon so in the long run it'll cost me less to get my own setup at the shop. Definitely can't have enough tools or equipment

Thanks for the heads up though

I want to, but it wont happen with those fatties in the rear. It's rubbing a bit around the fender/bumper junction as is. Oh well. A couple more months and it's back to 4x4 status

Yea, I'll be there. No guarantees I won't be groggy though- I'm definitely not a morning person, let alone a Sunday morning person lol

Same. I'm excited for the event but waking up so early on a Sunday morning is going to be brutal.

Derelict, check here for details: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=432321 and let us know if you're thinking joining up!

Since I'm going to be pulling the motor in the M soon, it gave me a reason to mod/clean/make space in our garage for the monster of an engine crane I'll be picking up in the coming weeks.

Tool rack and bike hoists ftw

Awesome. You're so lucky to have the space for that (and two other cars in the garage)! Is the engine crane being delivered? If not I might be able to swing by with the F350 if that helps you get it home.

Thanks for the offer, its much appreciated. I don't think I'll be needing it though. My buddy who lives down the street from me is planning on pulling the motor out of his 5.0L mustang to put in the type 65 coupe he's building . He's got a truck and we're going to split the price since I won't be needing the engine crane after I pull the motor and get it on the stand.

I got the racks from Lowes- it's part of their "gladiator" system. It's basically a set of rails that you can add on various hooks, holders, shelves, etc. You can customize it any configuration you want, which I really liked about this setup.

First, you'll need to get some GearTrack channels: http://www.lowes.com/pd_182183-46-GA...tt%3Dgladiator

The rest of the parts depends on what setup you're looking for, run a search for "gladiator" on Lowes and you'll find what you need.

Air tank is for impact wrench/ratchet/paint gun.
