Yeah the weather has been bad the past two winters.

Monaco Blue Coupe with AT, Winter, and Premium... I'm in love.

Although, I got it home and I am sporadically hearing the valve lifter metallic noise (known issue yeh?) until the car gets warmed up. I'm not happy about that and will probably take it into dealership to start the process of fixing. Makes me wonder how they could CPO it if they heard that going on... although maybe it didnt make that sound in warm Atlanta.

Mods and such? I'm going to try not to get sucked in too much. I have a healthy travel bug and like to save alot for trips. I can feel myself growing weak though...

It has all the hallmarks of that problems. My understanding is that its a known issue, and you have to complain in the right order before they full replace the cylinder head.

It's basically a "normal" noise that doesn't sound normal...so depending on the application and the user....it may be fine or all hell may break loose

Mine is the same way. However as of a week ago it starts to run rough with the check engine sign only when cold. As of 4 days ago it comes up more frequently regardless of temp. As of yesterday the check engine sign is on all the time. Hoping for a service tmr if not Thursday

That sounds like a fuel delivery problem rather than a lifter problem
