all funds should be transferred and settled. Any money missing should be checked with Principal not TransAmerica. Trust me, 401K funds are heavily monitored for regulatory compliance. Any funds missing will be found. Are they transferring your shares over or liquidating them? If liquidating, perhaps they're waiting for some to transactions to settle.

I would suspect is just settling some funds transactions....
