My 2011 US sedan and wagon brochures both still list Montego as an option.

Looks like I may be wrong. I feel like I saw something about it not being produced on the wagon variant after 2010.

I disagree. The market has cooled, but this one checks some pretty hefty boxes for some people - 6MT, RWD, very low miles, xeons, rear door sun shades,...some prefer no iDrive....

The price may be high, but I don't think it's delusionaly high.

Same, it's a good spec if the color doesn't bother you. A couple of grand lower and put in some sport seats and most would buy it I think.

Montego hung on for MY2011 but became a priority 1 option. Between Le Mans blue and Deep Sea blue also being available, it was very overlooked. It was dropped for 2012, and the VIN backs you up; this car is DSB. Looks super nice... HK and convenience package are a real plus for the price.

Thanks for posting this one, I had practically stopped checking Craigslist around here because there’s rarely anything posted and almost missed it. I just picked it up, I can confirm it is Deep Sea Blue.

My previous E91 was totaled last January and I’ve been searching for another one since. So glad to be back in an E91. It seams to have every option except sport bumpers and ACC.

It’s not quite as good of shape as I’d hoped, it had been sitting for the last 3 years. It needs a good cleaning and a A/C recharge. Ironically it has nearly the exact same issues as my last one, drivers cup holder doesn’t work, passeneger auto dimming mirror is cloudy, rear license plate bolts are rusted to the bracket and won’t come out and the start button and trim ring are worn.

Congrats on the purchase!!! Glad to see that my post helped someone Deep sea blue is such a beautiful color... my 2011 Z4 had it and I miss seeing the color change in different lighting conditions. It's definitely rare to see an E91 with so many optional extras! Hopefully it was maintained well with good records on the common N52 problems.

Congrats on the wagon pickup! Hopefully those are the only real issues - those should all be easily rectifiable. Enjoy the E91!

The car on BaT ended up selling for $16,000. I’d say that’s pretty fair given the spec and overall condition of the car.

So my buddy is looking at selling his absolute unicorn of an e91 - 2012, alpine, m-sport, RWD, 6MT, single hump, xenons, imported OEM euro full interior with cloth and alcantara heated seats and door cards.

Car has been pampered and had all preventative maintenance done - struts, brakes, tires all newly replaced within past year. Multiple sets of wheels available to be included if buyer wishes, but stock with OEM M-sport 17" wheels at current.

Chances are you'll never find another stateside like it. 88k miles and hes looking to entertain reasonable offers starting with a '3'...

This car is absolutely peak e91. I don’t even know how you’d value one of these M sports but with that interior I think starting with a 3 is fair.

If he ever decides he wants to sell the interior I will buy it. Lol

Appreciate the feedback and completely agree…I know the owner sold the black leather interior, so doubtful he will part this one out but wishful thinking! I’ve driven this car many times and it even has me tempted…so good.

I also wouldn't know how to price that... but man. Perfect spec right there, I'm sure someone will be more than willing to pay for it.

Nice car but thinking in current market it's high. I hope it fetches what he wants. I think you have posted photos of it before in the e91 picture thread.

Is this a retrofitted car ? Plate VIN comes up as base non sport model halogen car.

It was retrofit with all OEM M-sport parts - no expense/detail spared. Even the biggest e91 enthusiast would not be able to tell it was not M-sport from factory.

You know I am all about retrofits

Base model side skirts and stock ride height kind of give it away though

Very nice but to me, built that way might equal offer starting with a 3, or mid to high 2… retrofit equals offer starting with a 1.

Good eye! I didn’t realize it wasn’t a “real” m sport. It not being a true m sport definitely hurts the value but it’s worth more than the average e91 IMO. I absolutely want that interior though lol

BTW, mad1stgen, my buddy owns one of your swapped e91s and I’m working on buying one myself. Can’t wait!
