I dropped my car off for a brake check up...they were squeaking quite loudly when I reverse. I also decided to tell them that my fuse in my glove compartment and trunk probably have blown out.

I just received a call from my SA, "Wow, Mr. Szeto, you modded the crap out of the lighting. The glove compartment fuse has blown and the trunk bulb is out. Also, I've noticed that you change your headlights/foglights, as far as I've known, we never offered blue bulbs. *SLAP, NO SHIT*. He continues with "You are the first E90 with a blown out trunk/glove compartment bulb...if you keep modifiying your lights, they won't be covered under warranty but I placed an order to fix it under warranty this time".

Thing is...I kept telling them to not worry about the lights and to focus on the brakes. Instead! They went on their bitchfest about the lights! and proceeded to tell me that IT'S NORMAL for brakes to squeak in reverse. I mean a little squeaking is okay, but mine has a lot. He also said, "we can not do a thing for the brakes".

Man, last time they were really nice and supportive when I went there for a full service checkup. Now, it seems like they despise my car because I have modified it. They were all giving me dirty looks yesterday too...it's like they HATE modifications...wow. And now, I have to pick up my car...nothing has been updated or fixed. Waste of gas/service.

I bet they went joy-riding too. First thing I'm going to do is check miles/gas.
sorry to hear david!

i'm having a squealing brake problem as well. i'm going to have them check it out at my next service, which is less than a 1,000 miles away.
  • perform service (oil change i presume)
  • check squealing brakes
  • check peeling steering wheel cover
  • check loose rear window seal/gasket

It was hella funny- they stuck the needle in and I was watching it. THe next thing I knew I was in a car and everything around me was moving at supersonic speed (it was like life passing before my eyes). Then the doctor woke me up and gave me some water. Turned out I passed out on the floor.

By the way, they said the wheels should be there today. Don't know if that's really true or not though...he wouldn't give me a tracking.

Go to PeterPan or something...last time I went they had A++++++++++++++ Service. But then, I have always vouched for BMWSF...we'll see how it ends up today.
It just sucks that they were giving me such a hard time over 2 bulbs that just needed to be replaced.

I really want her to get a S2k. I even want that car, even though I'm very fortunate to have an E90 already.

S2k's are just too damn sexy.

I used to work in a blood bank back in college. We'd have days where we'd be at school taking blood and you should see how many passed out!

The size of the needle sometimes made people faint on the spot! I do admit though, they were big needles and having someone stick that in your vein isn't fun...but it's all for a good cause in the end.

S2k > Z4

If I lived on top of a mountain, S2K > E90

dude, my high school (Riordan), had blood bank in the gym at lunch time. On one side would be students eating...on the other, 10-20 students giving blood while we ate...see bags of red everywhere.

i'm tihnking though, about the body kit ray maybe i should just wait for something definitively good. i mean there's a widebody for the e90 that just came out. i could put the body kit money into the brakes or do all the suspension stuff and interior trim. coilovers, sways, cf etc etc.

i keep looking at my sig pic and the car just looks sleek there, the rieger kit is almost too bulky

lol!

i gave blood in high school once. they had the set up in the gym. from what i remember, the needle was pretty big!

during one of the periods i wasn't there, my friends told one of the needles fell out of a girl and blood squirted every where! the girl wound up passing out when she saw the scene. lol
