Yeah I'm not a bot. I'm a janitor at planet express who is very excited about his new wagon. I was on the hunt for manual RWD E91 for a few months and when the m sport popped up I had to go for it.

I went out to Venice to check this '07 out today:

https://losangeles.craigslist.org/ws...775480249.html

Clean interior with heated seats and sport package (missing cargo cover). Exterior isn't too bad other than rear side window gasket (typical) and front bumper cover. Newer Bridgestone runflat tires.

I walked from it as there is a lot of deferred maintenance needed. Pretty much everything you can think of. Fresh oil clearly seeping out of the OFH and front of the engine is slathered in oily grime so VC assuredly bad. Presume OPG as well. Belt is frayed and walking off the tensioner, obviously MM flange. Upper radiator hose is weeping, so will need replacing and probably crack the radiator in process.

Basically all the typical E90 stuff, with the addition of a transmission wear code. Maybe just fluid, maybe not. I don't have the time to put that much work into it, but pretty much nothing awful. Transmission is a wild card. I think seller will definitely go for a lower offer. If you're in Socal and can put in the time/effort/money, give it a look! No affiliation, etc, just a PSA for you!

Very helpful for those out of the area looking to buy. ✅ Probably a good decision on passing over it after all of the maintenance you mentioned. Unless someone is looking to do it all themselves and could get the seller to a lower price.

Definitely happy to pass on the intel! I was hoping it would work out for one of my kids at that price, but too much work. It's a perfect car for a DIYer though, nothing out of the ordinary. And it's really clean and well spec'ed. Hopefully an enthusiast can pick it up!

Don't those quarter window seals require removal of the glass to replace?

Yep... looks like a miserable job. Passenger side was fine, but driver's side was non-existent. Not the sole reason I walked, but just adding to the decision.

Oh good, I hope it went to someone that can really take care of it. It had 90 something K miles on it, asking was $6,000, with seller saying they would accept lower offers.

Dreading it on mine. The lower section is pretty dry on mine but still all there. Just been liberally applying Honda Shin-Etsu grease in the hopes that it'll buy me some time.
