dude, one thing i learned in high school so far is that at first you think its all about image (and it kinda is to all the so called "popular" kids) but after all it all comes down to good friends that support you and in MOST schools only reason people are popular or are losers are because of how rich they are. nobody judges you by who you are anymore, i do that to some people i am not gonna lie, but some people are just way to STUCK UP about how popular they are. less you give a shit about it, much better you gonna be.
