That is lovely Chappers, pretty much the kind of thing I will be looking at later in the year, add a tow bar and Euro6 and it would be perfect for me.

The miles on this one wouldn't bother me, it used to but having had my 335 go to 160k+ with minimal issues and still being a lovely car to drive, modern looked after cars wear their miles really well.

Post up (or PM me) how you get on with your negotiations.

Didn't get a chance to see it, add was taken down next day & I believe it was sold, still a better one will come along...at some point, bored of looking at them now.

Had to endure a two & 3/4 hour drive in the dull discovery this afternoon, that thing is just mind numbing to drive any distance in, only up side is the diesel is free & at £75 for just over half a tank to top it off its just as well

Just car insurance for last month, £254 with breakdown & recovery, mods declared for me & Mrs Chappers. Around £130 cheaper than last year with the same broker...happy with that

No expenses for July.
Took the 35i out for a little scud about this morning & surprisingly the oil service light came on, checked i drive & It was saying 8,000 miles still to go. Have just had a look in my service book & it's saying last oil change was at 120,500 in August 2020 it's now at 126,000 miles.
Going to put a new set of plugs in it as well as it seems they were last changed at 95,500 miles back in April 2016, how time flies!!
Got a good deal on the oil & plugs, 8 litres Castrol Edge 5w40 m £70 from Halfords & six Bosch plugs from ecp for £74. Will pick up an oil filter from my local main dealer tomorrow.

Cars currently running fine & still puts a grin on my face after all these years.

Still haven't found the 'ideal' Autobiography Range to suit what I'd like to spend, so am now looking at F15 X5 40d's & they seem like a good alternative, quicker than the RR, cheaper to tax & many more mpg. I could get a 2016 with under 60,000 miles for the kind of money 2013 RR's are up for, I really did fancy the massage climate seats in the Autobiographies but hey ho.

Nice X5 on AT, although it may be a couple of grand high on the asking price. Link attached below, any opinions welcome

Good to hear your 35i is still going well mate, mine has had no extra expenses this month too.

Re the new car, I'd hold out for the RR, they're a different class than the X5.
I'm tempted to keep mine and give it to Mrs S and keep for the dog car

Had a lovely couple of hours just scuding about in the 35i today. Some fool in a 'moded' mini Cooper S even had the cheek to try & play traffic light Grand Prix

Going to change plugs, filter & oil tomorrow. Not sure if I'll be brave enough to change the plugs from cold as I wouldn't want to see them wet with any fuel!

Eventually got to drive off in the beige estate 8pm Saturday, got it all set up as I want it yesterday & used it to do the usual weekend chores. It’s a lovely place to be, especially the massage seats Obviously it’s not as much ‘fun’ as the 35i & I have missed it these last two days but I’m an old man now & hopefully the 35i will find a good home.

Took the estate out today & had a few hours to get used to it….am loving it

It’s a 2018 in Champagne Quartz Metallic (beige according to the DVLA) 48,000 miles, supplying dealer fitted new front pads, discs & rear tyres (Pirelli’s),has massage seats & a pan roof.
I got just under £3,000 for the 35i as px which I’m happy with as although it was mechanically A1 the bodywork & wheels need some work. I suspect they’ll put it up for around £6,500.

Cheers Chapperss I enquired about an extended Bmw warranty today & was pleasantly surprised to find that it has Bmw warranty until end of January.
