Been a bit quiet on this thread but have been doing small bits and pieces.

Did a spark plug change and swapped out the boost solenoids to try and resolve a misfire issue.

Cars running well at present.

Been helping to test some fixed camber plates a member of babybmw has been making up.
His initial spec ones gave a decent -1.8 degrees up front but then he made a new design to offer more aggression.

So after getting his prototypes and getting them on I had an alignment done.

I did a test fit last week of just the plate to check for clearance and you can see they are quite aggressive:


So got them back on last night and then took a trip down to Matt@Spires to get the alignment sorted.

As you can see from this pic they are certainly sitting better:




Initial measurements (it flipped between -3 and -3.1 on the left):


Matt got a nice -3 on the fronts now.

I'm really pleased with the handling now even for road use.

Car handles so well round bends now it's unreal.

Cambers at -3 but toe adjusted to help with tyre wear.
As long as the toe is adjusted properly tyre wear shouldn't be too bad.
Will see but it's all about the bends LOL.

Place I used for my side glass was in Telford but know of another in Wolverhampton.

Only thing is I actually replaced the rear screen for a genuine sun protection one from the dealer as most I spoke to said the dot matrix was a pain being so large an area on the E92.

Happy to give you the number if you want them.

Also was the M3 wheel a straight swap with the paddles.

Hi Nath,

Yeah the CH-Rs were: fronts 8.5x19 et32 and rears 9.5x19 et35.

The M3 wheel was indeed a straight swap for me being pre-LCI. It was all just plug and play.
