Glad to see the beast up and running Nick! Care to do a few PROcede GIAC runs this Sunday ?

On a side note guys, I would like to invite you to my cricket game tomorrow at Bryan Mawr field. The game starts at 12 and goes on till 6. If you have absolutely nothing to do and want to learn a new sport feel free to swing by. Since you guys don't know the sport I can get away with being absolutely terrible!

Enjoy your weekends!

It is absolute beautiful out here. I'm leaving soon so I'm spending the last couple days looking at some model homes. I was looking towards the mountain because of the view and some are a bit cheaper. Most of the homes that are closer to the ocean shore go up to the millions. I've never seen so many nice cars here. I've noticed that there is a pretty substantial BMW crowd here. I am really thinking about moving here possibly to pursue my Master's Degree, but who knows. Very high-cost of living here though. Gas is about 3.50/gal for premium. Eeeesshh..

In other news, got the PROcede on the car and she's running awesome at ~14 lbs of boost. I'm a happy camper once again.

Here was the final diagnosis including software levels (if anyone even cares). They put a 933 reman HPFP in it which is fine with me; I just hope this is it for awhile.
It's good to hear that you got your car running again!!

Anvar, where is Bryan Mawr field??

Glad you are enjoying Hawaii you lucky bugger! Our game got washed out today, a real shame because we were winning. Anyway, we have a game next weekend when the weather is supposed to be great. If you are coming from downtown take the penn ave exit off of 394 west and take a right on Penn avenue and an immediate right which will lead right to the field. Look forward to seeing some of you guys there.

Enjoy the gloomy weather!

Cheers.

Anvar: For the next game, will it be the same time? I've seen a few cricket games because I used to live in England but never really gotten into it.

Brian: What happened to your DSLR?!?

Martin, our game this week is on Sunday at 12 PM at Bohanon Park Ground. The address is:

4917 Bryant Ave. N
Minneapolis, MN 55430

Also, I curbed my wheels Can you let me know that place where you got your wheels fixed? They don't look too bad but they still annoy me.

Got too close to the curb, damn rookie mistake! Not too bad but hurts nonetheless. I need to survey the damage properly to figure out if it is close to the script. How much do you think it would run me?

Do they have a website by any chance?

I talked to them last year when I found a set of curbed 230s for sale. They wanted something like $275 per wheel for a complete refurb job.

Man, that really sucks about the wheel curbage! Total rookie mistake I would've blamed it on Aki! haha

Those options for refurbishing wheels sounds pretty reasonable though.

My camera- so 3 weeks after I got it, I started getting a camera error every 3rd time I'd press to take a picture. Then I'd have to turn it on and off 4 times before it'd fix itself. Totallly annoying.

So i took it in and they said they had to send it out to get fixed (cause it's past the 2 week return policy) Total BS. So I bought a Canon T1i that I was planning on returning..but this Canon is WAYYY better than my Sony! like Way better! So i'm going to see if they can fudge the numbers a bit to allow me to return the Sony and keep the Canon.

Anvar: There are 2 places that may be able to fix your wheels. Keystone, it's next to Nick's workplace. The other place is Precision Wheels in Hopkins.
Website: http://www.precisionwheels.com/

I was going to bring my wheels here but they weren't able to fix my bent wheels. There were asking $150/wheel too.

EDIT: I brought my wheels to MN Enameling. http://www.mplsenameling.com/ They mostly do just powdercoating, but they partially fixed my curbed wheel. If you really look at the curbed wheel, you can kinda see ridges but they did a good job considering $325 for all 4 wheels.

Brian: Nice! What an upgrade! Canon T1i is an awesome camera, a friend of mine has one. I really like the new Canon T2i.

Appreciate the information! Do you know what the turnaround time is? I mean can I just leave my car there for a day or so? I don't want to resort to putting my winter tires back on just to get the wheel fixed. I do realize I can get these questions answered by just calling them, but I am lazy

MNEnameling took about 1 week to powdercoat my wheels. Unfortunately, they only accept the wheels dismounted from the car and tires. So I just had Discount Tire dismount the tires and then bring my wheels to them.

Another important information is that THEY ONLY ACCEPT CASH!! Only companies who have an account with them can put the order on credit. I learned this the hard way, had to drive out to my bank to get $325 in cash. And that took another hour or so.

Seth,

I appreciate the information.

I am actually debating taking a crack at it myself given that it is not TOOOOO bad. Anyone interested in helping me? Beers will be compensation (after the job of course!)

Here is a great DIY:

Martin and Nick - I could use your skills on this!

Thanks man. I want to survey the damage again to see if I can tackle it. I like the idea of doing my own work. I am just a little concerned about matching the paint, because my wheels are a little darker than the regular silver.

Just get a paint code from BMW and do some searching on what can match it.

Are we going to schedule a summer meet soon?

Bowling Outing!

Guys,

A month or so ago I bought a groupon that gives 4 people free bowling and shoe rentals for an hour at Park Tavern lanes in St. Louis Park. I figured we could make a mini meet of this and we could do it multiple times as well. So tentatively, how about we catch up for some beers and bowling on Friday, the 25th of June. I am flexible with dates.

Cheers,
Anvar
