he should clean his chip out completely and take the car to another dealer and tell them the first dealer flagged him for wheels/exhaust/drop, etc...

definitely....i agree....i'm all for being moral and honest, but i mean, it's the dealer's trying to pull fast ones on their customers....especially for something that's on a systemwide recall....
