Yeah. I am comeing close to the end of my factory warranty anyway and still have another one through the dealer where I purchased the car (not cpo) so if I screw one with the tune, I still have a backup, LoL.

That is my concern. So once it goes into limp mode, doesn't it reset itself after the oil temp drops down? But when they run the test, that code will still be there right?

I would thnk that the codes would be seperate area then tune so if u got one and got rid of the tune it would still show. But that's a guess. Battlehawks got a BT tho

that was one of my biggest holdbacks with the general idea of a flash. You cant keep actual fault codes and go to a dealer to get any warranty work done. Either you have all the codes which give away that you have a flash, or you go in with no codes, and they wont do any work until you throw them again. argg

if youre fine with no warranty, it could very well perform fantastic (I cant compare since I havent tried)...but the ability with the piggies to clear tuner codes etc then take off the tune and go in for a routine maintenence fix...is a plus to me

see with mine, its so subtle (yet effective) they won't even notice I have a tune so there are no worries on the warranty stuff.

Ok, off to bed. Should be up at the shop tomorrow around 12-1 if anyone wants to swing by. Not sure how long the tune takes so that will dictate how long I am up there.

im not 100% sure, but it would be logical as far as software goes...

if they have some way to keep your codes that would be cool...except, because its a flash codes will be managed based on how the flash software is programmed, so you may end up with codes a stock tune would not have caused etc...I cant imagine the tune lets you keep invisibility @ the dealer, while keeping your fault codes for warranty work

id imagine it doesnt have the ability to clear the codes it causes as a flash, and differentiate those from common faults to allow you to keep the ones you need and ditch the ones that point a finger @ a flash

You have a MT Alex? I thought about getting some because on my 1-2 shift, I feel a little lag like I'm losing boost... but it could be something else. Time for a data logger

yup MT

I feel like Im keeping boost good, just figured if I was going to go to stage 3 with the tune, maybe id be pushing the safer limits? but I guess not really...from what logs have shown on the v3 stage 3, peak boost is usually in the low 15 range to high 14's with the new maps...so I guess I shouldnt really worry

im getting my tails lightly blacked out as well...kinda blackline effect for e92
