What are other symptoms of failing/leaking injectors other than misfires? Looking at my logs everything seems to look normal, but the feel of everything is definitely not the same as before. I went to BMW to see if it is a wastegate issue, and after doing diag and smoke tests they said I have no boost leaks, and wastegate rattle is still within spec. Timing isn't being pulled.

I get a boost spike after WOT hitting 20 or so PSI right after I let off the pedal. I do notice my exhaust sounds deeper in the low rpm range when driving around than it did previously making me think theres a leak somewhere post downpipes, but again still hitting target boost and load.

Only code I pull is the AAF fuel pump plausability code with no others being thrown.
Hard to guess without any logs. It's late, so go out now on the highway. Warm up the car to 210F or more on the oil temp and do some WOT 2000-6000 rpm logs in 3rd gear with DTC off. Load them up to Datazap and send us the links.

looks good to me all though never stated what map your running . but it appears your hitting max boost within 400 rpm or so pretty normal and duty cycle is fine . so i would say your good.

You have a few minor issues you need to get corrected. Actual load exceeds load request. You have a boost overshoot on spool which caused the throttle close and timing drop. Also, it's looks as if the rapped change in WGDC are causing timing drops. You can see a small throttle closure at 4228 which coinsides with the timing drop on cyl 5 and 2712 on cyl 1.

Also, your mid range boost is really low. All of which can be fixed.

What do you think needs to be fixed exactly? I brought it to try and get new turbos/wastegates, but dealership said it was all within spec. Carbon cleaning, and spark plugs were just done. I replaced 2 coils due to misfires at same time as plugs, but right now am not having any definite misfires compared to when I knew I had them. Just a general lag feel overall.

Thanks for all the help.

Short of doing a custom tune for your car, I would change OTS maps and see if one of the other OTS maps works better for your car.

Is there a specific thread where people share tuning insight with Cobb's Accesstuner Race software? I wouldn't mind checking out some custom tunes for these cars.

Google seach: "howto - cobb atr discussions, maps"

Theres a lot of reading, however mostly everything there is theory and elementary.

You will have to understand global PID tuning but will still need some advancing when being applied to our platform.

A more "fundamental understanding" of PID on the N54 comes from experience and dumping $500 - $1000 in gas to learn how it and the N54 DME logic works.

Here is a sample of some PID tuning and Overboost being enabled on the 335is which required a complete overhaul of PID when Overboost is enabled. Another reason why ProTuners dont mess with it cause its a hastle to dial things in properly

Load is overshooting req load, and you have a serious issue with cyl 5

Cyl 5 is problematic for a lot of people even after ruling out the usual suspects, good thread on it over on BB (won't let me post link sorry)

Thread is titled "CAN WE GET TO THE BOTTOM OF CYLINDER 5 TIMING?"

Do these logs point to injector failure? It seems like it based on the smell of gas on startup, sluggishness, hitting boost and load, and I have no other idea.

When I run the ots e30 map, I feel like the traction control doesn't interfere as much as on stage 2+. I normally drive with a single press of the tc button, not off completely.

Does the e30 map reprogram the traction control?

When flashing the ecu with cobb v3 on my 335i I noticed what sounded like a fuel pump constantly running. Is this normal? The flash lasted for 3 to 5 mins. Battery flat warning light came on afterwards. ..

Normal, and evertime you flash a map you will hear the pump running. Nothing to be alarmed about.

For the battery warning to come then you must be have a dieing battery to do that within 3-5 minutes

There is a table that you can adjust the sensitivity of TC, but thats a Protuning option thats not going to giving out freely
