It was far from stock. Cam, edelbrock 750 4 brrl, hooker headers / full custom 3" exhaust, msd ignition, a buch of other stuff, but the heads were stock

It ran with the best of everything else in my area. It was blk and it had American racing outlaw rims on it, the solid ones with the rivets. I wish I had some pics of that car.

i wish i had pics of my 79 cobra, i still have the cobra symbols from the interior after the crash lol. stock 82 heads? damn bro, who puts a cam in and keeps those bottle neck heads on lol. you can get away with it with 86+ motors

I know right! The cams were done before I owned it, The heads were machined but they were still terrible!

i had a 79 cobra with an 83 cobra 302 in it, b303 cam, edelbrock rpm cam, gt40p heads and a big holley 4bbl, i forget the cfm of the carb now lol. the 79 originally came with a turbo 4 cyl (svo engine)
