Simpsons challenge officially ends at 09-09-2012, 05:23 PM EST.

We did void out challenges in the past and hit the reset button on what happened after the problem occurred. Everything that has happened to this point is null and void. I recall the E9X next to two foreign made cars which got recalled as one was made in the US with a foreign badge.

If no one gets it before the time posted above then....

Eriku, has 24 hours to complete it himself. He already has the pics which he took after the challenge. So they can be posted by him again at the time stated by the rules. I guess he could just reply to himself in that 24 hour time period. He saves his point and makes a new challenge.

If sticking with the rules this is what I come up with....

I see varying opinions on this...

Agree with sticking to the rules. This is a very simple game, with only a *few* rules.

Eriku's challenge was unique, but hard for most people to complete. This sometimes happens. A ton of challenges have been completed on Day 6 or 7. If not, no big deal.

I suggest Eriku reposts his Homer. Then posts a new challenge.

I've followed this from the beginning, as have many of you. We all know it's not fun when it takes a week to complete a challenge - we've been there many times before.

Many people also try to bend the rules. Rules are in the first post, and that's what this is all about. It's not fun if you don't play by the rules.

Opinions on the rules shouldn't be superseded by a few people yesing an change or idea. For the number of people that have posted or followed this, where do you draw the line on the vote as to how many people yay or nay something?

Unfortunately no. You did a very good job, but under the circumstances of the game rules its voided. Sorry about that. That's why it's best to follow the rules that way we don't have to back track and or there is no premature happening.
