Carbon grey metallic is the best colour for that Panamera.
I am actually very traumatized with a jet black colour because all paint imperfections show up and it's hard to clean them up. Check this out: http://www.astonmartin.com/eng/thecars/rapide |

Well, it seems this forum got some life lately. And, yes, let's set a date for the first official Ottawa BMW owners' 'get together' gathering. How about Saturday, May-14? I will take suggestions for a place. Anyone??

May 14th sounds good.....just tell me when and where specifically. I am thinking about somewhere quiet but accessible such as: Tim Hortons @ 372 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON K1V 1C1 Last edited by clairvoyant; 03-31-2011 at 08:32 PM.. |

Also, did you get the complete final drive, or did you get just the pumpkin? What other parts do you need to do the install (axle seal set, ect)? |

Wavetrac is cheaper.
I got mine from http://www.namotorsports.net. I just got the pumpkin. Axle seals and differential oil. |

Not yet. I had a close look at the BMW one today as my friend picked it up for his 328. What was your problem/question?

My 335i should be here in about 3 weeks, I have just checked. First thing I would like to do is to get clear shield and get windows tinted. Here is my little dilemma; should I get full clear bra or just standard which includes lower part of the hood and mirrors. Goldwing quotes me $225 for standard and $500 for full bumper, hood (just a section) and mirrors. I it worth it? Does anyone know of 'clearshield' brand? How good (or bad) it is and how it compares to 3M. Is Goldwing the best place for this anyway?

I'm having Shades do my tint and clear bra (bumper, hood, fenders, mirrors). Relatively costly but he does excellent work.

Jeez...is it just me or does every second person in Ottawa have a 323 or 328???
There are so many BMW 3 series in Ottawa now! And Benz C-Classes...everyone seems to have a C230. Everyone thinks they're a baller in their 3 series now. |

Try Richmond, BC. That place is like Benz and Bimmer sanctuary.....but then again It's Hongcouver.

I know of Shades. The guy did my Infinity QX4, back in 2002. Window tinting looks as good as on the day he installed it. Maybe we could work out a deal since a good friend of mine is looking at the same job on his E46 M3 he has just purchased. |
