EPIC FAIL! well I tried ordering the parts from the dealer and they pretty much had that "what is this guy ordering?" kind of face. they ordered the performance susp but they didn't order the springs, they had the M3 rear sway but it was just the bar with no other accessories and they didn't even order all those other M3 parts.

only reason I ordered it thru the dealership was I can get employee discount, but I guess that didn't work out as I expected.

quick question, they showed me stock 335i shocks and compared them to the performance ones...why are the performance ones taller?

You know we have everything in stock, but probably can't match your employee discount.

Hey LaYzEe,

Could you post a photo of the front performance susp sway bar? I am trying to see if it is similar to the M3 front sway.

thanks

Thats quick! thanks for the photos. My perf. susp kit was the older one and did not include this. I thought the M3 sway is similar to this, but this is distinctly different. thanks again

i got my parts installed thurs morning, picked it up friday afternoon.

i havent gotten a chance to really drive around that much but i can definitely feel the road more than before. turning seems more precise than before too but i'll get a feel of it more when i hit the freeways.

full review in the next few weeks! i wanna let the suspension settle in first!

Has anyone had any experience with TCKline DA's on OEM springs? Does the lower spring perch on the TCKline keep the stock spring in it's original location? Or if anyone has any experience with TCKline DAs vs AST 4200s feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I drool every time I go to the AST website. Wish my mom had taught me more Dutch.
And regardless of design difference, I bet the M3 front sway bushings are stiffer than the Perf ones.

I will only comment on TC Kline....It is probably one of the best DA coil-over kits you can buy. However, depends on what spring rates you order, how your car handles can differ greatly.

For a few hundres dollars more the TC Kline DA coil-over kit can be made much better, with better springs(lighter weight coil-over springs) with proper rates(we have spend lots of R&D time on this one), helpers, and thrust sheets.

Of course we can go beyond your day to day dampers and talk about Moton's and JRZ's or even Ohlin's and Penske's.

Go from your ordinary Eibach and H&R springs to top of the line Swift and Hypercoil coil-over springs.
Hi Harold, do you sell a Coil over kit that can be adjusted to the ZSP ride height (or maybe 1/2" below that? I drive my 335 in the winter in Canada and need the height.

Second question: do you need the sways if you go with a coil over system - I won't be tracking my car.

Third question: Can you remove the understeer with Coil overs, and the M3 front end bits, and maybe camber plates? - keeping ZSP ride height and similar ZSP ride quality?

Thanks, this is an awesome thread.

Some new options:

http://www.hpashop.com/category.sc?categoryId=118
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...&highlight=AST
http://store.bimmerworld.com/shared/...t=products.asp

http://www.vorshlag.com/ast_models.php

IMO the complete systems w/ thrust sheets & camber plates look great. The Bimmerworld site has the new street Motons -- drill around in 335 suspension section.

Does anyone know the stock suspension travel of the e92/e90 sport package dampers? I would like to compare this to various suepnsion travel settings on my V2s.

I think this info will help people in determining ride heights and what to expect handling/comfort wise from lowered cars.

Is there a solution that lets me lower the front end, doesn't make the ride any harsher and will not potentially get me stuck in the snow when winter rolls around? Also I hate the idea of getting an alignment everytime you adjust with a coilover setup.

Any and all input is appreciated.
Thanks
I also have a similar scenario. I have an E90 LCI with non sport suspension and would like to lower it. I think lowering it down to sport suspension height would be fine. Could i just swap out my springs and shocks to the Sport ones? or just the springs? Or would i need to swap out something else in addition?
Thanks in advance
