Are there really hardcore drag racers with 335's? If your tires are so sticky that you need this to spin them how the hell are you going to spin them during a controlled launch? Without LSD how can you heat evenly - won't one just spin? I'm all for cool gadgets but this is strange for a road car.

isnt it weird to use catless downpipes on a street car? and upgrade the fmic? why are you on this website LOL... all the shit we do is weird to do for a street car of course it would work fine without any of this, but some stuff makes it work a little better and thats what this is gonna hopefully do for those of us who run our cars at the track

You dump the clutch in the waterbox, and get the tires spinning, and then release the line lock once you have the tires warm, and roll out while continuing the burnout to get the tires dry......

No amount of spinning is going to evaporate the water dripping from the wheel well onto your tires if you light them up submerged in the box. If you do this you will tend to have some water dripping onto your tires as you stage. This leads to inconsistent 60fts. Arguably the best method is to back into the box (to avoid getting your front tires wet), roll out a foot or two and then light them up. But hey if thats the way you wanna roll.... |

Been there, done it many times. This has nothing to do with heating the tires up. This is about keeping any water hanging up in the wheel well off the tire after the burnout...

I think the point he was trying to make was to not do the burnout IN the water box. You should still do a very, very, small slow spin of the tires to get them wet all around. Then pullout and do the burnout. This way your tires are nice warm and there is no water in the wheel well to drip back on your tires and get the track all nice and wet for the next racer.

You do know that the 335 has a carpet material in the rear wells dont you? Any water that goes up there does not drip down but gets absorbed into the cloth so getting a little water up there during the burnout wont have any effect on your 60' times... What's next scientist?

AR, will there be some kind of fail-safe or some other safety measure that will make sure that the line lock can not be enabled, say when i am doing 130mph on the highway? Cause that would suck
