Here is a track setup that one of our clients have done with the ARC-8s:

  • Satin Black 17x9.5" ET35 ARC-8s
  • 255/40/17 Nitto NT01 R-compound tires
  • TC Kline Coilovers with camber plates
  • -2.8 F, -2 R camber
  • 5mm front spacer to clear struts

Why can't a company make a hood that doesn't have sh*t fitment?

Unfortunately we do not have any pictures of that set up on an E92 but we do have photos of it on an E90.

  • Apex ARC-8 in Hyper Silver
  • 18x8.5" ET38 Front, 18x9.5" ET35 Rear
  • 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 Dunlop Star Spec tires
  • This is a direct fitment. Wheel spacers, fender rolling, and additional negative camber are not needed

You guys need to go more aggressive! I can't wait to mount my Hyperblack ARC-8's on this summer ! Kept the setup off my E46 M3, and am going to make it work on my brand newish 335i! Had to downgrade the tires a bit to make it fit, but still close to OEM tire specs. Will have pics as soon as it warms up.

18x9.5 +22 fronts (235/40 Hankook V12's)
18x10 +25 Rears (255/35 Hankook V12's)

Anyone running the ARC-8's 18" in 9" width up front, which I think has a 42mm offset. What would I need to do to make that fit? It would be nice to see that concavity both front and rear.

Spacer is needed to clear struts inside, but go with 9.5 fronts if you want concave. I have 18x9.5 et35 front.

I don't really see much concave on 9 inch wide

Got it, yes only the 9.5's are concave on 18s. I was thinking of the 17s. A 9.5 up front would be tough to pull off on an e92.

Not really, 235/40/18 tyre to front and if you have coilovers small spacer to clear the struts, but if you want 17 inch even though you asked 18 inch. 17 inch have et30 at 9 wide. That's direct fit and it seems to be concave too.

If you would like to do the 18x9" ET42 flat face front wheel on your car a 5mm front wheel spacer would be needed to clear the front strut. If you were looking to use a 255 width front tire and you have the required negative camber obtained through adjustable camber plates than you would need a 12mm front wheel spacer to clear the strut.

Hmmm, so basically an overall ~ET30 offset with a 18x9" will allow me to fit a 255/35 FR? Or 17x9" ~ET30 255/40? I believe your EC-7s come in that offset as well as the 17" arc-8s correct? I will have camber plates and KW coilovers but want to avoid the spacers.

That is correct. The EC-7's do come in an 18x9" ET31 size and the ARC-8's do come in a 17x9" ET30 size but the ARC-8 in 18" at this time only comes in at an 18x9" ET42 size which does require a wheel spacer in the front when using 255 and wider front tires. The ET30 offset is also ideal in the rear of your car where you would not need any wheel spacers at all unless you were looking for a slightly more aggressive and flush wheel fitment.

EC7s in F:18x9 et 31 and R:18x10 et 25
Tires are Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta
F: 235/40/18 / R: 265/35/18

I'm running Koni sports with Swift coilover springs (7kg/12kg) on TCK sleeves up front & AST height adjusters in the rear. 6" springs up front are set tad under 1" from lowest setting. There's about .75-1" gap above the tire all around. The rears will rub but just slightly only over occasions when the shocks compress beyond 2".

The rears fit to my taste perfectly. I plan to roll the rear fenders & go another 1" lower on a different set of coilovers with 3-5mm spacers up front.
