M-tech if you are just going to add a bumper... I like the M3 front with add on lip... I ended up purchasing the M-tech since there is no M3 front conversion for the LCI.. I'll be posting mine up soon... Mtech front... |

Another Platinum Bronze E90
First post to E90Post.com. Reviving a bit of an old thread, but since I now own an '08 E90 328i Sedan in Platinum Bronze with Terra Leather and Poplar Trim I thought I would say hi in here. I love the interior scheme and get a lot of comments about the exterior color of the car. It seems people really like it or don't care for it with not too many in between.
I see some upgrades in the future. 205/55/R16 RFTs have got to go. Maybe try to go to 17x7.5 or 17x8 wheels, stay square with 225/45/R17 non-RFTs all around. When the checkbook recovers a bit from the car purchase, I think I'll be shopping. Perhaps I'll put up some pictures at some point. |

Actually I like the stock 268 wheels, except I want more rubber on the road (like 225s). I am looking for a balance between how it looks and how it drives. I think 17's put me there. The other money I may spend down the road is for some suspension improvements.

Here is my car with new MSW Type 21 17x8 wheels, Conti Extreme Contact DSW 225/45/ZR17 all the way around. The new tire pressure sensors work with no problems. I am taking it easy on the tires for the first few hundred miles, but the non-RFTs seem to make a big difference in handling. I know it is not the best picture, but it was cold outside yesterday when we (I got some help from another BMW buddy) put these on. One of these days I'll do better. More sun would help bring out the color of the car. Many thanks to Gary@TireRack for helping with this install. Wonderful responsive company with their usual rocket fast delivery. |

My 2008 PBM 328i...
My PBM with 18" M6 reps. Next project is to get rid of that gawd awful wood trim, then likely black out my grills, change the headlights, and add blacklines. Also considering black dinoc for my roof.

Black roof will definitely make it more aggressive, therefore lessening the grandpa-vibe coming from the color.
