If you were to measure from a level floor to the frame mount and the endlink mount at the end of the bar, both should be the same distance from the floor, that is the most ideal position for the bar. Any deviation from it will make the bar less effective. However, it's hard to get it perfect because of ride height or other obstructions(control arms, tie rods and etc.) You just want to get those measurements as close as you possibly can.

So nothing works for x-drive? What would you recommend for an x-drive 335i sedan on Bilstein Sport shocks and H&R sports?

What about sonic tuning coilovers? Will these fit? The OEM ones were longer I believe. But then again the sonic tuning Endlinks were adjustable

I have had calls in the past...what is the length measured from center of the joint to the center of the other joint?

Again, it's all about the length. Need measurements.

Harold,

Swapped out my 335 with these endlinks (worked great compared to the FK garbage) and now I am in a F10 535xi.

I just lowered my car 1" with ACS springs while still using the factory sway bar and shocks. Would i need longer or shorter endlinks to bring the sway bar geometry back to stock or is it not even altered in my situation?

Any idea if these would work on my car? Seems like most aftermarket endlinks looks the same where it only differs by length. I can measure the stock endlink for you if needed.

Alan

Alan,

Longer links for lowered cars. Just make sure the ends are the same as your 335i ones so what I have is compatible.

So what is the original geometry of the sway bar? There are multiple bends, is the final bend where the hole is suppose to be horizontal? Should it be tilted up slightly, down slightly or straight .

It's the end of the bar, that distance to the ground and the distance of the center of the center bushings to the ground, you want those two measurements as close as possible.

When the car is lowered, the OEM links cannot compensate for the longer length needed to keep the swaybar in its ideal location. Get immediate response from your sway bar and precise control over your suspension. What this means to you is tighter, more responsive handling.

HP Autowerks is happy to introduce adjustable endlinks. With adjustable endlinks you can return the bar to its ideal leverage point while lowered. They also afford the peace of mind that the links or shock link mount will not fail as is common in factory units, as they will now be adjusted properly. The links are adjustable in length up to an additional 1.25" over stock. HP Autowerks end links are adjustable while on the vehicle.

These end links will fit the following vehicles:
E9x 3-Series Front (no-xi)
E82 3-Series Front

I'm not sure why can't we use these on the rear? Can you explain why we need endlinks on only the front but not on the rear if we have aftermarket front AND rear sways? Thanks,

Maybe you can make a short video showing where the measurements should be taken for endlinks. Pics would work too. I'm still a bit confused and just got my hands on some M3 sway bars to compliment my KW coils. I'm lowered of course, but not slammed.

Measurement is made from the center of the joint to the center of the joint. The stock one measures 11.5"

Have some m3 front and rear sway bars but the seller didn't have the m3 stabilizer link/end link. Will I be able to use my existing endlinks or will I need to get something like these? Also sent you a pm. I have a 2011 e90 335i
