Is the M3 diff superior to the 335i + Quife or wavetrack?

I found the complete rear of m3: diff, half shafts, subframe, rods, wheel carriers, bearings, brakes etc for 1600€ but the sellers doesn't know if it is 3.85 or 3.15 likely 3.85

For me now it is a go - no go situation shall I buy????

I am also wondering if the M3 diff can cope with the extra torque of the 335...
Does anyone know what the M3 diff is rated to?

I think the M3 assembly is stronger than the 335i

but what about the M3 diff compared to quife?

The M3 diff should be stronger as its got bigger and beefier components. The question I raise is if it is more reliable as a diff on overall. The quaife in no way makes the OEM diff weaker or less reliable or stronger for that matter.

another question:

Is the wheel hub of M3 the same of 335I ?

On the hub there are the grooves for ABS sensor, as far as I replace the complete rear axle with the M3 one I need to know if the ABS can work whit the M3 hub...

I think you are on your own with that one. Why would you want to use the M3 hub?

I take it the e92 M3 subframe is a direct bolt-in to the 335?

So then if you were to purchase an m3 driveshaft and support components you could bolt in the m3 rear drivetrain correct?

Thanks,

The M3 shaft fitted directly with no modifications that I am aware of. I am going to speak to my tuner who has been unavailable for a while and get every little detail. It happened so fast that the one day he asked me if he should try and the next night he phone me to collect it.

That's what I meant to ask, would an m3 d/s fit into a 335 transmision. If so, I'm sure I can get a carbon d/s made to fit-

The M3 driveshaft cannot bolt onto the 335 transmission. That why I used the two pieces.
