Not true. If that were the case, then you should just be able to buy a "virgin key" and start any random e90 car. The keys you buy from the dealership are already tied to your car. Ownership verification would be required even if you just bought the keyfob without the insert.

But I know someone who can get it from BMW Germany but you have to show proof of ownership of the vehicle and ofcourse pay for it.....they will tie the CA feature to your VIN....it will be like your car came with comfort access. I will update the post once I get to that point |

Sub'd as well.
I'd love this feature... if there are any local GTA installers willing to give me a price "complete/installed", that would be great!

@bimmers users, does someone would kindly share the pins assignments of each parts of those CA so that we could easly build our own harnesses about antennas, passive go and CA module like I saw about the F30 one in the bimmers forum (thread 813025 page2) using rheingold. Doing so would save a lot of time searching about to everybody!

So I have all the hardware to do the install. I was wondering if anyone have some insight on this. I have front and rear PDC so I have the Modules in the back. Where do I install the control passive go for the comfort access. There is no room to put it in so what do I do. I need to keep the front and rear PDC modules.
I will take a picture tomorrow in the day light to show what I mean Thanks RB

I made a doc with ista D about it on my e92, FULL details (some in French sorry) where you will be able to build all your wires, see there: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8v...ew?usp=sharing About the pdc and passive go place, they are SBS you will see in the doc, must unmounts the rear right side and pull what is behind to see a white receptacle where the modules are vertically and two empty for trailer modules. I have a pic but about an e93 (same place but module alone). and my Passive module: I did all the antennas and wiring with the diversity antenna wire, also using the PDC beside to connect K can High and Low (+ground). Stay to finish : the wire for the CAS - JBE and the doors connectors for the handles, I have the Key ... Last edited by Pierre26; 04-23-2016 at 12:55 PM.. Reason: Doc update |

Pierre26....nice write up and thanks for sharing. I didn't get the key yet was waiting till I get my install successful. I have someone to get me the key.
So I looked at what you have and still can't fit the CA passive GO module. Below are pics for illustration So I already have 2 modules in the first and second slot of the device holder which are related to the front and rear pdc. The third slot is has a divider and won't work and I think it's for the trailer module. So I am stuck as I want to keep my front and rear PDC Anyone know what is wrong. |

about Modules
@ramez75, First see the Ref of each module to know what exactly they are. My PDC is ONE module (for front and rear) with 3 plugs and located in the center of the plastic basket and I putted the PassiveGo in the outside housing one to be side by side to be able to do the connections on the X300 about the 2 Kcan wires. The trailer module is half width / the 2 others.
According ISTA PassiveGo is A215, PDC is A81a and Trailer on is A6, see page 13 and 14 of the doc, pics are shown about these. According your last pic you gave PDC have the same place as mine (center), just add the Passive Go outside. Last edited by Pierre26; 03-26-2016 at 01:40 PM.. |

So you will see under the right place for rear center antenna, no need more to install. On your pic you don't fully show the carpet to the rear seats For the wiring you will need to remove all the front center Box, they are some DIY for that, begin by putting the shift in drive mode to allow to pull/remove it, (so must start with brake on, then you can stop).
