Bone Stock.

Talk about a power change... It's amazing how the v5 transform the car without doing anything. This car is bone stock and makes amazing power and torque with no other mods. I will post up the rest of the runs with full bolt ons and step by step graphs shortly.

Michael
nice numbers wonder with 93 octane or 100 octane it could be even more hp, so if u run just v5 no more mods its cool numbers, i have on my car bms dci and no more mods yet, v5 coming and ic (big toms coming) so maybe i will hit 400 hp with those mods (hp its not whp its eu based calculation to a crank)

07 bone stock 91 oct GIAC stage 1

Notice,I asked Alex to stop the run at 7200 RPM;However he took it to 7700!
I don't know what that hump is on the torque curve
Typical baseline on this dyno according to alex is 245 Whp and about 260 lbs/torque.
This is a safe tune that feels strong on the street
Sorry about the size of the dyno sheet as I am new to adding picture links!

Upon further review of my dyno sheet,I realized that the dyno operator erroneously reported that he went to 7700 RPM!
Thanks for bringing to my attention the fact that he only took it to around 7200 RPM!
He did that to badmouth GIAC's tune and he proceded to inform me that OE Tuning can give me an extra 20 to 30 whp at about the same boost level as GIAC's
These people at OE tuning are professional liars!
I am extremely pleased with my GIAC stage 1 !

So, are you saying that the dyno operator at OE could intentionally produce an erroneous dyno test to promote his OE tune? I was on the same dyno, same day, and got rediculous low numbers on my JB4 (map2) which made me kind of suspicious...

No, he just told me that he took it to 7700 RPM!I didn't pay close attention to my dyno sheet on the spot!He then claimed that GIAC is Junk and tried to promote his OE Tuning tune!Very unprofessional!
If you look at my dyno chart, you will see that he stopped at around 7200 RPMs!

Is yours an early 2010 or late 2010 with the N55 engine?
I checked your dyno sheet and noticed that by 6800 RPMs you are loosing about 50 ft/lbs of torque compared to my GIAC stage 1 tune !What are you boosting?

I think your JB4 map 2 is too aggressive!Without seeing your boost curve,my guess is that your piggyback or DME is tapering off your boost too quickly to safeguard your motor!
Is your car otherwise bone stock?

New dyno runs

After I got 2 new Vanos Solenoids and got my HPF exhaust installed and updated my Procede maps to the new V5 1-21 Beta Maps I decided to head back to Mach V and put down some numbers. The power difference(hp and tq) in the new maps is noticeable in the mid range rpm(2500-5000); power was MUCH more noticeable specifically...top end. There was about 100whp and 100wtq gain at the 6700-7100rpm range!! POWER ALL THE WAY TO REDLINE....FINALLY(great work Vishnu)!! Between the HPF exhaust and the new maps I was very pleased with the changes. The exhaust was able to help the turbos spool more efficiently but as HPF said, these gains will be much more noticeable after the turbos/turbo are upgraded. (450+whp) These runs were done on the same dyno at Mach V Motorsports, the only difference in the runs were the maps(V4 firmware #29 vs V5 1-21 beta), exhaust, the ambient temps and only 5 gallons of Sunoco 104 vs last time when I added 10 gallons...so the octane on the first runs were obviously higher. about 100octane the first go round and 98 the second time. The ambient temps on the first runs(blue) were 61F and the second set of runs(red) were recorded at 71F. That explains the HP loss, I know its only a few HP but Dan(owner of Mach V) said that temps alone would explain the loss. The overall Tq gain was VERY evident(+27wtq peak) on pump gas and I believe that was partly due to the HPF exhaust. Even on the 50/50 mix (93 and 104=98 roughly) runs showed a 10wtq peak gain...again I believe it was due to the exhaust. I will post some videos and more charts when I have more time. I also datalogged each run so you hardcore guys can see whats going on behind the scenes on each of the new runs. They will be posted shortly...The first dyno is on pump and it compares the old run(blue) to the new runs(red). The thing I am most pleased with is the power is held all the way to redline as apposed to the old maps where power dropped significantly after 6500rpm. Any feedback is greatly appreciated...and again I will post the logs shortly, they are on a different computer and I need to transfer the them to this new laptop. Let me know your thoughts...good or bad.

If for some reason you have compatibility issues with viewing the dynos here is the photobucket link: http://s1203.photobucket.com/albums/...999/?start=all
