Nah the NSX is gone. It went back to Melbourne in April last year. One suburb over from where I bought it from 18 months earlier actually! haha.
I just picked up the same car you have, an MY08 335i M sport, black on black on black with a few mods. It gets delivered Tuesday or Wednesday probably. Just looking around filling my head with information, wheel specs, meth, e85 info, aero parts and what not. I am ideally hunting around for a nice set of wheels but I haven't seen a single set for sale here or abroad in the sizes I want (19F / 20R) and HRE, CCW, SSR or Works or even BBS LM's. Recognised the Landcruiser / plates and was like heyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! haha Last edited by s2kadrenalin; 10-19-2014 at 03:50 AM.. |

Bugger about the nsx, special car it was.
Thats awesome news im sure you will love it, they are amazing cars the 335, hard to beat the package of power, luxury and stunning looks of an msport e92, I've tried looking at alternatives and nothing really comes close. So given how tunable the n54 is, how crazy are you going to go ? Not the s2k crazy ? |

lol nah, that thing was a money pit I hated in the end. The Mugen seats and aftermarket clutch I had in it has ruined my knees. I now can't exercise or do anything strenuous without re-locating my knee cap 90 degrees. Hence to say I have put on a stack of weight from the lack of motivation / installed fear of doing serious further damage.
This car has already got a host of modifications to make (apparently) circa 430whp. Its a shame its black though, I wish it were white, or blue on tan.. *pipe dream*. Wheels are first and foremost my priority. I'm not a fan of "murdered out" - which this car is, so first up is tracking down a nice set of wheels to break the murdered out look it currently has. After that we'll see. I'd definitely love a CSL boot, LCI tails and a real rear diffuser, not this bumper stick on stuff. But we'll see how we go! |

I've been hunting around for something for sooooo long, but there is a huge void in the 30-80k car bracket and finding a car that ticks 3 simple boxes was super hard - looks, comfort and speed - as well as late model. I've considered everything from a VW R32 Golf Mk5, Golf R Mk6, another NSX, Audi S5, Audi A5, BMW E92 M3 or E60 M5, Ferrari F355, Mercedes Benz C63 or SL55 and even an Audi RS4 or 911 Turbo but I just couldn't justify the prices largely for 95% of those cars, and the 5% I could, I couldn't justify buying a souped up Golf or Audi A4 grocery getter.
The 335i was something I always liked all the way back when I first had my S2000, and loved the modability of a TT I6, but I ummed and arghhed and to'd and fro'd between all of the above before coming back to the 335 for bang for buck, and buying one with mods already done suited me, because well I probably would of ended up going that route anyway, so best someone else spend up and do it for me this time around... lol. |

Far out thats no good about the knee, yeah the whites are hard to come by, i put a deposit on mine sight unseen and flew down and bought it that week, wasnt going to miss out on it.
Yeah they sit in a perfect spot in regards to all of that, just saw the mod list for yours, holy shit, thats pretty worked wouldnt be suprised if there was more than 430whp in there with the RB's those are serious gear... looks like you have a weapon! |

I'm just looking forward to getting back into a "sports" car again. Been driving a Hyundai i30 around for 12 months and hating every day of it. |

Well, it's a replica. Fitment is surprisingly snug with pre-drilled holes to match existing screw holes on the bumper. You just need longer screws. I also added a few additional holes and double sided tape for insurance purposes.

Paid well under 40k for it, so it was a decent deal. PS: If you want the wheels, they'll be for sale in a few months time. =) |

When I bought mine 2 years ago you were lucky to get a clean example for under $50k, these things are going to get popular to modify as they become cheaper Good luck with the sale of the rims, I'm not a fan of 20's personally 19's imo are plenty big enough |
