So do the M2 exhausts fit 335xi or xdrive coupes? Anyone?

Put the BMW PE on my ride last week. Absolutely in love with it. Perfect. Perfect fit. Perfect note. No drone. Highly recommend.

Has anyone with an e92 xi/xdrive done the OEM exhaust mod in the thread below? It seems like a cheaper route to essentially get the Performance Exhaust sound.
Modify OEM exhaust to sound like PE exhaust I was thinking about trying this. At this point I'm not interested in downpipes due to the cost and smell. My plan is to cut open the outside portion of each muffler, remove the resonator on the divers side, remove the perforated pipe on the passenger side and replace both with straight pipes. I would then put the packing back in (50% each side.) EDIT: Found a thread in the N55 subform where Sidewinderpb has done this on his e92: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showth...ht=exhaust+mod

Has anyone else found an option for a secondary cat delete? This option is fucking ridiculously priced- and an exhaust shop won’t touch the cats unless I rip them out first(not ideal). It may come to that but if I could find a kit like below that’s not $900.00
Already have M performance mufflers. https://www.jmautosports.com/product...less-bm0403004 |

I think this car sounds awesome with just catless downpipes. Definitely a bit louder, but not too much, and it has a great tone, rumble and burble.
It also sounds great winding up through the gears. Definitely sounds BMW, but no drone or other annoying and typical side effects that rear exhaust "upgrades" usually bring with them. |
