Sorry for the crapy phone pics.
Well any pics are better than no pics. They look great!

For the M3 models its very simple and you can put the power supply right at the top of the headlight below the cover. There is no way for them to interfere with the headlight

Thanks!
Yes the stock bulb is 35 watts and well over 30 watts of that goes directly to heat. Our lights draw about 12 watts in total but closer to 6 watts of that goes into heat. There is absolutely no chance of these overheating and causing any problems within the headlight. We have incorporated safety mechanisms to prevent this from happening as well as a fuse so they are very safe to use

Would you mind sharing how the installation process went for you? One of my OEM Drl's burnt out and I'm thinking of finally biting the bullet with some Lux's

From my experience, it was a PITA to get my fingers inside the housing and twist the bulb into place. Other than that, no problems. Mind that the drivers side twists opposite the passengers side. Hope this helps.

I would agree. It's difficult finagling the lights in there and I actually stripped one of the LEDs installing them and had to send them back for repair so be careful. There is a piece on the top of the headlight housing held on with 3 small screws that I recommend removing as it allows you to see inside to the opening where you will feed the bulb through. As far as installing goes, just twist off the cap to the back of the headlight housing, reach inside and you'll feel the halogen bulb. Twist it out of the housing, unplug it, plug in the LED connection and twist the LED bulb into place. I believe LUX has instructions on their website as well. Coming from LUX H8 V3's, I can attest these lights are amazing and the best plug and play option out there.

Yeah I was looking through those, and it seemed like they removed the entire headlight assembly. Other installation guides have you remove the front two wheels and access the assembly from the wheel wells, which is a bit more than I'm willing to go through right now. Thanks for the tips!

Your car is an E90/91 LCI or Pre-LCI? I think only Pre-LCI have access to this housing from the wheel well. LCI is from above.

+1. only the 2006-2007 models need to access the angel eyes from within the wheel wells. the LCI models 2009-2011 just need to open the hood and access it from the top there.

H8 160 for pre-March 2007 E92

I didn't think to check to see if there was two seperate versions for pre/post March 2007 build E92's but I did indicate the build date of the car in the space provided for "car info" on the order form. Now that I've checked the page more thoroughly it looks as if the H8 160 will not work, please tell me I am wrong though.

Yes if you have a pre-march E92 coupe then only our LUX H8 V5 2007 model will work and not the LUX H8 160. I also already responded to your e-mail that you sent over to us earlier
