There's something that seems odd about the Yin Yuan Stone but I can't quite put my finger on it.

Lake Baikal in Siberia, Russia, is the world's deepest lake with a depth of 1,642 meters (5,387 feet) and contains about 20 percent of the world's unfrozen fresh water. The lake's total volume is over 23,500 cubic kilometers, which is more than all of North America's Great Lakes combined.

Lake Baikal was formed in a rift valley which then filled up with fresh water.

There is a 21km difference in the radius of the earth at the equator, vs the poles. The spin of the Earth causes it to bulge at the equator.

I was taught to look at the longitude and lattitude lines before comparing areas of projections around the Mercator map.

We also always had a globe in the classroom (especially geography class), and often at home.

I don’t mind a different perspective, in fact I encourage that, but map reading skills are somewhat more involved than looking at a picture.

There is one acre of US soil in England and it has nothing to do with any embassy. It is for the JFK Memorial in Runnymede.
