NEWBIE to E90
Hi
Got 6000 miles on my 320dM sport auto (177) since december . Liking it a lot. Spec as follows: Sapphire black with black leather and sunprotection glass(also greyshade screen) Optional 18,s and bluetooth. Also fitted black grille and put in some DVD headrests for the kids. Just had delivery of SPIDER tuning box but not fitted yet. I,ve always driven VW/AUDI cars with DSG gearbox. Have to say the BMW auto is leagues behind this If only they had one!!! |

I thought I would introduce myself, my name is Jonny and I have just ordered a 320d M Sport Touring.
I have driven Audi’s for the past 6 years (an A4 and A6) and I am looking forward to changing to a 3 series. I have ordered the 320d as the company car tax is better than 325d and I could not notice the extra power of the 325 that much and I can have some fun with the option list instead. I have gone for the 'editions' spec plus DAB, USB, prof nav, vis pack and Logic 7 which I hope will be worthwhile. |

Hi
Hello All,
Black 335d Coupe SE (Love the aluminimum trim round the windows) 19in Five spokes and fully loaded. 16,500 miles now, 39mpg, absolutely love it. Had BMWs for years, 3's, 5's, X3 (rubbish) X5 (brilliant, 36,000 miles and still on the original tyres!) but this one is in a different league. Very fast, comfy, looks good, but doesn't attract too much attention (just a 3 series), handles like a dream, and does over 500 miles on a tankful. It's interesting to read the run-flat/non run-flat threads, it sounds like the non run flats make quite a difference. Mine (RFT) still have a lot of life left in them so I'll see how I feel when they wear out. Great forum - Thanks. Oscar |

Hi Serjames Yeah i can just see myself in an M3, but i very much doubt my miswah would get insured, let alone be able to drive it The Seats actually quite spacious too :P
Carl, i'm not sure what my 60ft was, I'll have to dig out the paper work. |

Newby saying hi
Hi Guys and Gals, have just joined the forum and wanted to say hi to you all - hi to Chrisbin if he's around who I know from the Touareg forum.
Just bought myself a shiny (nearly new) M-Sport coupe of the 6 cylinder diesel variety....lovely car but already have plans for a few subtle changes to make it my own Have owned BMW/Alpina cars and motorbikes in the past, plus Mercedes, Lotus and Porsche but the 3 series just can't be beat, so it's a bit of a return to the fold for me. Look forward to chatting with you all in the near future and will post some pics of the new car as soon as she arrives Cheers for now, Mark

Thanks DXB.
Gone for the 3 litre in 325 tune but will probably look to chip and change the exhausts, as soon as I can. Want to also get a boot spoiler but am struggling to find one that compliments the car. Waiting to hear if there will be anything in the new BMW performance range but would welcome any alternative thoughts.

Still not sure what to go for - I've looked at so many in the past week So far I've considered: BMW - both the one in the accessory catalogue and the M3 style. Think the M3 style looks best on darker colours - so should look great on you Black Sapphire but I'm not convinced how it would look on Silver. AC Schnitzer. Rieger. Autovogue - nice but they won't sell it without the full bodykit. CA Automotive. RDT Styling. Hamann - sort of reminds me of the spoiler on my e36 Alpina but not sure it suits the e92. Vorsteiner - CSL style - lovely but a bit OTT for what I have in mind and £££'s. Might go for the Hartge - seems to complement the curves of the body without being too OTT. Any other thoughts or anything I've missed?

Another new one
Had my car for 4 weeks now. Lurked around the board for a while. Thought I'd better register and start contributing/ask dumb questions. Some pics for now
