Idk if any of you guys could pitch in it'll be great. Pics?

I'm more experienced with the E92 but have used AngeliBright and Weisslicht and have been talking with Marc lately about LUX-- this time I'm definitely using LUX as he uses some of the best-available emitters with a very reliable design.

Yea, I heard LUX are basically best bang for your buck kinda deal...How were the Weisslicht, they seem a bit dim to me. Though I have never seen them in person. Pictures can't really capture any AE IMO.

It's great! Torque comes on early and it feels smooth. Reading the wide-band plot on my dyno graph really eased my mind also. Your car made awesome power on the dyno too. Isn't yours a 6-speed manual? Do you know if they ran the dyno pulls in 4th or 5th gear?

Did you have time to drive your car on the street with the Cobb tune before it was removed?

Weisslicht works best on the E92 where lighting distribution between the light rings is uneven. The Weisslicht design places the LED emitters right up to each light pipe opening on the E92. Unfortunately it can't support the heat output and drives its LEDs at half the power of the LUX design. The Weisslicht is a bit dim and washes out in daylight.

I didn't buy the tune. Hard to believe, but true. I will be getting it though, probably next week. I think they are still finalizing the xi version. It is not yet avail for sale.

Pulls in 3rd or 4th. I want to say 3rd. Yes MT

Weird, no wonder your dyno looks so much stronger than mine. Third in a manual is 1.54:1. 4th is 1.18 :1 and 5th is 1.00:1. I'm not sure how much the torque multiplication can alter things but manuals should be run in 5th.

I have a Steptronic 6-speed auto so they ran mine in 4th, which is 1.14:1, about as close as I can get.

Kick ass Joe! I think I will wait a bit, get the JB4, then think about selling it and getting the Cobb also....but we'll see. My new Stett cold air intake and charge pipe are really nice though, and the BOV sounds awesome!!

I still have the OEM kidney grills off my old e92 if you still want them. I'm not sure how much they go for.

Deal, but the car comes with the OSS, so we'd have to trade cars...

So I take it you're keeping the V5 to retain the O2 simulator functionality?

Yeah, I had put up my v5 just to see what kind of price I'd get but with everyone selling and lowballing it's not worth it. And after riding it out a bit and reading some more into it, I think the verdict is still out for which tune will be the best. Cobb's definitely got the upper hand in being the most convenient, but power wise/feature wise I think the piggy backs are still ahead for now. Plus, Cobb is only Stage 1 at this point, and who knows when Stage 2 would be.

I'll probably end up getting a DP fix regardless since I will need it when I take the car in for warranty work and have my V5 out...
