Talk about a cruise through Brown County has died off. JabralJF and I have been discussing getting together to play with the JB4s a little and possibly doing some cat delete work. If anyone would be interested in hanging out for a couple hours and talking tunes, etc., post away. You can also DM me on here, or CabralJF. We are on the southside.

I vote for a Brown County cruise when the temps fall a bit. A lap around IMS is always on my list also!

I fell off the face of the planet for a while... but I'm back now!

TurboCraig and I are going to work on some E90/92 mods soon. I just upgraded my JB4 to the G5 board and I plan on flashing the Alpina Transmission mod to my E92 and TurboCraig's E90. I am also going to do the other basic mods to the E90 like the V=, corner delete, and windows up on fob.

I will try to make it to cars n coffee some time before the end of the summer to try to meet some other car nuts. If I dont make it there I am always at LA Fitness in Greenwood!

If anyone wants a flash or help let me know and we can work something out.

We are going to meet up on Thrusday (8/29/13) evening in Greenwood. Going to install the SLD in both cars and possibly the Alpina if I can get a hold of the latest v49/v48.1 files in time.

I have everything you need, but I'm traveling until Sunday. PS - if you're tuned I'd strongly consider a back end flash via COBB, BB Opensource, or OFT. I believe they all accomplish the SLD without additional wires.

Hey guys, new to the BMW scene. I am in southeast Indiana now but will be moving to Indy sometime around December-January.
Just bought a 2008 335xi is all stock for now but I am beginning the research and deciding what route to go.

@AWil335i The only coding I have done on my car was with NCS to change some of the available options. I would be intersted to learn how to do other program mods. Right now I am running the JB4 G5 with the WW Meth Kit. TurboCraig and I couldn't start the Alpina flash yet because I am still downloading the 50.2 Datten files. We will try to meet up again on Labor day.

N54 Curt We will be here! As far as mods to your car go the first thing to do is consider how much money you want to invest in it. That is usually your limiting factor in any modification. As far as bang for the buck I would suggest a piggyback tuner. I am running the JB4 right now but there are other chips available on the market.

Finished some small mods on @TurboCraig 's E90. I finished downloading the 50.2 Datten files. I am going to unzip and get it ready for my E92 and install this week.

@AWil335i , which backend flash devices can remove SLD? I couldnt find BB Opensource or OFT.

BMS Backend flash through COBB does, and I thought it did through OS as well. My question is... where are you going to test it?

@AWil335i Looks like the BB Opensource solution does get rid of the speed limit if you flash the BMS Backend Flash.
http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showth...=20563&page=20

Has anyone heard of these downpipes from Speed-Concepts:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Speed-Concep...b9b0de&vxp=mtr

They look to be decent quality but I was wondering if there were fitment issues.

Also, is there going to be a Cars and Coffee meeting this Saturday?

Never heard of those. BMS fit perfectly, my neighbor has racelands and they don't rattle on his car.

Cars n Coffee at another broken egg every Saturday at 10. I'll actually be there from like 9:30 - 10:15 if all goes well. Leaving for Cincy after that.

I wanted to drop by C&C this morning. As it turns out, I got a later start and only made it to Dreyer for a wash. I'll try to make it in the next few weeks.

I was only able to stay for a little bit, but we are slowly building the number of BMWs that show up.

On Saturday night the gumball rally cars will be downtown Indy around the circle. Worth checking out.

titleist- If you can get up to Greenwood, we can get the coding done that you are looking to get done. Just bring a list of what you want changed.
