Very sorry to hear that. Yes, I just switched from non-catted ATM to his catted ATM DP. Very significant reduction in smell, but the exhaust and turbo whistle is just a bit more muted. You can still hear it, but it's not raw sounding like it was un catted.

Join the Facebook group. There's a decent chance you can sell that profi exhaust and at least make a little money back.

I am not a facebook user or i would join The group. Trust me though this thing is completely useless. Yes i don't want to smell the exhaust when i get in or out of the car or particularly at the drive up window. Wondering if metallic cats have zeolites in them i dont think they do which is a bummer. I guess i could wrap the cat and dp keep temps up. I had same kinda cat on my vw tdi but it didnt work well as it was pretty far back under the car.

dman... I need to do the same thing... can't stand the smell. Can you guys decode the acronyms...what hell is an ATM? Is just the down pipe what I need to replace? How much and who should I buy it from?

Gonna miss the fabulous turbo whistle. Can I just ditch the mufflers at some point?

Atm=ambient thermal managegement and thats the name of a company who makes parts for our cars. Matt is a guy who takes the atm downpipe and modifies it by installing a cat. I believe his website is whitbred performance innovations.

Well now I am stuck with this entire exhaust if anyone wants to try and make it work send me a message. Anyone with some welding ability can fix this up and I'll let it go cheap. It's new in box.

what did you try and do to get a refund? I had to spend $250 again at my muffler shop for them to make new hangers and rework the whole system.

Ok thanks. I got a refund from my bank. I dont know the details but it definitely wasn't as advertised. Is yours 304 or 409 grade? Take a magnet and check everything. Mine was a mixture but it was advertised as all 304. I found lots of 409.

Also it was advertised as fully polished 304 and instead only the tips were polished the rest was matte. Stuff like that.

All i can go by is the product description which says mirror polished T-304ss.

I never really scrutinized pictures people post after installed on vehicle and i didnt really see consumers pictures before installation. Either way mirror polished is not matte.

good for you. This exhaust is junk. Wonder if Ivo still sends this link via email when he tries to sell a exhaust? I would probably source a different link now!

The description I got was from eBay so that's probably why I won my dispute with the bank it was just clearly not as advertised in addition two other things such as materials not being as advertised it was supposed to be 100% 304 stainless steel but the flex joint the flange hangers we're all 409 stainless steel
