ask for Chiaki

They can also do engine modifications, maintenance, fender rolling and much more.

Ask for Jay or Chiaki.
Here is their website. http://braverinc.com/

I would avoid:
http://www.campbelltint.com/

Did a horrible job on my Huper optik ceramic tint. They use a heat gun to shrink the ceramic which causes the tint to "ghost."

has anyone heard of Michael Thompson of method sound. http://www.methodsound.com/methodsou...hod_sound.html

I'm looking for someone around socal to install an amp and underseat subs, and so far he's the only one that I found that works on bimmers. He seems very knowledgeable about them but seems to have more experiences on other models. Has anyone gone to him before for audio and other electronic work?

La Jolla Audio. Scott is the owner there. They're on the pricey side but do great work. The shop works on nothing but high end cars. They do a lot of bimmer work. I've had all of my stereo work done there. Top notch.

I have actually called them before, not sure who I talked to, but yea, they were definitely on the pricey side, i think, cause I haven't gotten a quote from anywhere else yet. But when I talked with him, he kept pushing me to go with more expensive stuff and switch out my whole system. I want to keep it simple, but he was probably laughing on the inside at me for my low end upgrade. He also said he owns a e92, but has never worked on e90s.
Mike at method sound also suggested slightly better (more expensive) system, but was happy to do exactly what I wanted.

Not surprised that Scott was pushing you toward more expensive stuff. The guy loves to do some wild systems. Of course, if he can put more coin in his pocket as well -- he doesn't mind.

Good luck in your travels!

Preston's Performance Center: http://www.prestonstire.com/main.shtml
619-460-8311
8300Center Dr. La Mesa CA 91942

Certified Tire Rack installer

They did my
wheels and tires; Koni FSD/Eibach Springs and also my brakes.

They are also Magnaflow and Borla dealers for that future Exhaust mod.

Preston's has a good reputation and lots of good reviews online. A lot of the customers I talked were repeat customers which tells me more about their reputation than anything else.
