would the 17x9 et30 fit a e36 M3? Would like to get a track set that i can swap between both cars.

I think 245 may be the widest you can go square on the e36, so perhaps 17/8.5 would be best for dual usage? You will need to confirm this and whether the different offsets will work.

The 17x9" ET30 is ideal as a square fitment wheel for the 335i. The 17x8.5" ET20 is a wheel really only intended for E30 M3 fitment and will actually stick out 4mm further than the 17x9" ET30. The 17x9" ET30 also allows for a much wider tire to be used without it ballooning over the wheel thus achieving much better response out of your set up. Currently we only do mounting and balancing for local customers and do not ship mounted wheel and tire set ups. I have sent you a pm.

I drive a 2010 E90 M 335i so I'm guessing my set up would be the 17x9.5 et35? If so how much for 2 of the black wheels shipped to 90631. What's the widest tire I can put on this wheel?

17x9.5" ET35 would work for the rear of your car. Since your car is an LCI with 8mm less rear wheel/tire clearance we suggest going with a 255/40/17 tire. This is a very common tire size and comes in most summer performance and extreme performance tires.
I see you are only looking at 2 rear wheels. Would this be a drag race set up?

I had no idea LCI's had less wheel clearance, bummer. Anyways, yes I'd be using these as my drag race set up.

Yes, LCI E9x's have 8mm less wheel/tire clearance due to hubs that are extended 8mm further out from non-LCI cars.
Nitto offers an NT555r drag radial in a 245/45/17 size which will work. The only other size that would even remotely fit is a 275/40/17 but fender rolling, pulling, and maybe even flaring would be necessary. I have sent you a pm.

I think it would be too close for comfort. I run 255/40/17 with -3 camber up front with the 17x9 Apex Arc-8 with 32mm offset, and all is well at max camber. As soon as I reduce camber a little for street driving, I get rubbing on the outer tire shoulder.

A 265/40/17 tire is a huge step up from the ideal 255/40/17 size. It is much taller, heavier, and wider and may not even give you a significant advantage over the 255/40/17. If you were to try and fit the 265/40/17 it would require at least -3.5 camber in the front with at least a 12mm spacer depending on tire to strut clearance. A significant fender roll would be required in the rear as well as camber in the -2.1 range. Ride height may also have to be adjusted to compensate for such a large tire. In the end it is not a size tire we recommend over the tried and true 255/40/17. Too many precautions have to be taken into consideration for an unknown increase in speed.

so to clarify....
Square 17x9 et30 on a 255/40-17 street tirewould fit on a stock sport suspension pre-LCI sedan with only some camber adjustment? Hmm... your website shows that setup in Hyperblack sold out. Is that a more or less permanant sellout, or would more of these be coming in sometime in the next few months? (I know - this is a tech discussion thread, but while I had you...) |

Our new EC-7 wheel is available in an 18x9" ET31 size which is also a great square fitment for E9x owners.

for '09 335i E92, I'm ASSuming that something like 17x9 ET30 w/ 245/40R17 PSS's would be about as big as I could go without rubbing on a bone stock setup (m-sport suspension though)? Am thinking about a DD setup not a race setup. Thanks!

You are correct. The next size up 255/40/17 would be slightly too big for the front of your car without camber plates. Other wise you would not have any rubbing issues anywhere and a 245/40/17 is an easy direct fitment for your car.

Would the 17x10.5 et27 Arc-8 fit the rear of a E92 pre-lci 335? I am running lots of camber (2.2 degrees negative in the rear) and 275/35-18 Michelin PSS on the rear with 18x9.5 et35 arc-8's right now, and the tires are nowhere near the fenders.
I'd want to run 275/40-17 NT01's on the 17x10.5's. Thanks |

As for the NT01s in 275/40/17, those run very wide and will most definitely cause rubbing onto your fenders even with the heavy roll. The 265/40/17 would be the better fit on your car for the R-compound, and even then that's pushing it after the fender roll.

Do you have any 17x10 arc8's in a 33-35mm offset? |

The 17x10" ET25 would give you an additional 4mm of clearance from the fender, so it is a slightly better fit. Unfortunately, the only 17x10" wheel we offer is the ARC-8 with the ET25 offset.
