Is this fitment correct for the M3 spoiler or should it be 'flush" with back of trunk?

I have seen both actually.
installed flush with the trunk lip and 1/2'~1' back from the trunk lid.

Officially, the E92 M3 with trunk spoiler 1/2'~1' back from the trunk lid.
however, I saw that there is one E92 with Mtech kit with a M3 trunk spoiler installed flush with the trunk lid. the point is that the spoiler was installed in BMW in Germany.

so I have to say that either would be OK as long as you are happy.

I notice the pic above from one of your buyers seems to be "flush". Is this the version you are selling?

I am trying to see a closeup of OEM but cant find any with 1" back from trunk.

the m3 type spoiler we sell is "the same" as the original one.
however, the installation depends on the buyer's choice.
to be honest, I thought the M3 spoiler should go flush with the trunk lid when I first saw it in TW.

I would prefer to see it flush. The one i posted is obviously 1" back from the lip, and If it is moved back to be flush with the lip in the center, then the ends dont seem to line up right with the trunk.

hi, since this is not a GB, we may not be able to refund the difference.
however, for those members who paid USD219 for M3 spoiler, you guys will get special price if you buy next item from us. we will keep releasing new stuff for E92.

Ordered on 1/10/08 and received it 1/15/08!!!! It was shipped all the way from Taiwan to Texas during that time!!! Color match is practically dead on and if anyone is having reservations about ordering one, see my pics......sorry my car is so dirty, it rained yesterday/today. The spoiler on the M3 does NOT sit flush but slightly back, tried my best to mimic that.

The spoiler will flex a bit to fit.
