cn555ic did you ever get your car working again? what about the galloping issue, random shut-off? Did you rent a car after your speed wire/harness/etc. failed? Is it costing you money and the piece of mind that the car could just shut off.

You are having problems with your car and your tune yet you seem so quick to bash Dinan, yet your car dies in the middle of the road. I beginning to feel that you regret your purchase and feel the need to bash others. I just don't understand your hate for Dinan?

Looks like another guy from work has a JB2 and he might also join me on the dyno to compare vs the Dinan. I will keep you guys posted.

Would love to see this comparison. Would love to see a Procede on the same dyno, same day as well so that we could compare all three.

I don't realistically expect the Dinan flash to go toe to toe with Procede V2 running only a max of 13.2 boost. However, I would be more than happy if I see numbers that ressemble Procede V1.47, AA Xede and JB2.

Then again, the true test will come at the dragstrip (or in the streets).

BTW, I know rideelement247 was waiting to order V2 and if he has it maybe we can dyno together (again).

I wouldn't expect it to go against the V2 either, but curious as to whether it will be closer to the V1 numbers as originally thought, or lower than that as posted in Shiv's thread.

You said it. The numbers were lower, in Shiv's thread.

I might be down to do it, assuming I have the cash. BTW I did get my v2 installed and am running 93% across the board. I ran some logs on 92% across the board and max I saw was ~14.5 psi, if I remember correctly, thus the increase to 93%.

Good to hear from you.

Do you have any other mods besides the Procede V2? I thought you might have been looking at some other stuff.

I have a Hyper Voltage Kit, which I don't think does much but maintain HP when you have other electrical equipment on, i.e. AC, radio, etc. NYCGarbagePrince dyno'd a gain of 30whp for about a span of 1000 RPMs in the very low RPM range. I doubt I gained that much power, but I feel that it has at least smoothed the powerband out.

BTW, I was looking at an intake, but I doubt I'm going to do that anytime soon. So yea, the car is stock basically minus the HVK and v2.

Kelvin -

+1. Good (seat of the pants) review. Look forward to your dyno numbers. Obviously you want to see the maximum performance numbers, so ignore those who suggest you use only 91 octane and fill it up with 93 (or whatever is available in your area).
